With spectacular sea views, this traditional terraced fisherman’s cottage, built in 1750, has been lovingly restored by the owners to a very good standard. With steep, narrow stairs and internal stairs throughout (young children and people with mobility problems - take care), this property is full of charm. With contemporary furnishings and a cosy woodburner, this is an ideal holiday property whatever the weather. The enclosed private garden leads to the beach, and has a patio area ideal for relaxing in with a glass of wine after a long day exploring the local area. Anstruther is within walking distance with its historic harbour, quaint shops, bars and restaurants, or enjoy fish and chips from an award winning restaurant. Take a boat trip to the Isle of May, where you can visit the bird sanctuary, famous for its puffins and seals. The Fife coastal path runs through the village, with historic castles, pretty fishing villages and many beautiful beaches and coves to visit along the way. The ancient university town of St Andrews is 9 miles away, famous for its golf courses as well as many other local attractions close by. Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth are all within one hour’s drive. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 220 yards.

Just ideal to relax and get rid of stress!
Property met all our needs. This is the second time we have used it and will continue to do so. Love the fact you can just walk on to the rocks.
