The Chapel is a stunning, spacious, detached holiday choice, perfect as a relaxing retreat at any time of year. Located within the grounds of the owners’ beef and sheep farm, this historic property is beautifully presented and dates from the Doomsday Book. At the end of a no-through road, it sits peacefully within glorious north Devon countryside with distant views of Dartmoor yet just 7 miles from the coast. Relax beside the cosy woodburner or escape to the first floor snug with lovely country views and balcony, the perfect place in which to relax with a morning coffee and plan your day. Guests are free to walk within 12 acres of the owners’ land and on a public footpath over the farm, and cast a line in the fishing lake (bring your own rods). This stunning area has much to offer with Heritage coastline popular for walkers and bird-watchers. Golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding, cycling are all on offer close by and for family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks are not to be missed. There are many lovely coastal villages to explore including nearby Bucks Mills, Appledore, Instow, Clovelly with its donkey transport and Hartland. The delightful port town of Bideford has a good selection of town amenities, restaurants a weekly market and boat trips to Lundy Island. Garden lovers will enjoy nearby RHS Rosemoor and Docton Mill. The beach at Westward Ho! is just 8 miles, renowned for its beauty it has two miles of sandy beach known as the Golden Bay and is popular with surfers. Beach 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3½ miles.
