This cosy, detached bungalow, with a large lawned garden, is just minutes from the beautiful beach, surf and dunes of Holywell Bay, as well as close to local pubs and shops. The Mowhay has it all, a great holiday base for the beach and for touring the north coast of Cornwall. If you can drag yourself away, there are many tourist attractions for all members of the family, including Holywell Bay’s very own Fun Park and golf course which is just minutes from the house. Crealy Adventure Park, Lappa Valley Railway and Dairyland are just a few of the attractions aimed at children. A surf school and hire shop, 2 good local pubs that serve local produce and a beach shop are available in the village. Horse riding, cycling, diving and sea fishing are all available locally. A short drive or a good walk along the coastal path, that runs close to the house, will bring you to Crantock, a quaint village with a golden beach. Newquay, with its surf and beach culture, is close by and has many restaurants, shops, a zoo, leisure centres, swimming and a working harbour, where you can take to the sea on one of the many fishing boats. Watergate Bay, home to Jamie Oliver’s restaurant, is nearby, and Padstow, with many excellent eateries, including Rick Stein’s restaurant and an excellent fish and chip shop, is a short drive along one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the country. St Ives, Fowey and Falmouth can all be easily reached. Beach 400 yards. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 30 yards.
