This welcoming holiday home offers the chance for guests to explore the beautiful area or venture to nearby Worcester.. Situated next door to the owners&rsquo; home of Astley Towne House and above a visitors centre, guests will find a warm welcome on their arrival to The Barn at Astley Towne House. The gardens and grounds at Astley Towne House are a delight and a must see for all guests, and the owner is happy to arrange private tours with prior agreement. Although situated in rural Worcestershire, guests will find a magical paradise and sub-tropical wonderland of winding paths of jungle, showing banana trees, palm trees and rare and exotic plants. There is also a Neo Classical revolving summer house, tree top safari lodge, man-made Greek columns and a mystical grotto decorated with thousands of shells and mosaics that have all been lovingly sourced and attached by the owner himself. There is also a private tennis court which guests will be able to use with prior agreement. For guests who wish to see the local area, as well as the immediate gardens and grounds, this is the perfect location from which to explore. Perfect for walkers, guests will be able to wander along one of the many footpaths that span through the two and a half acres of grounds and which lead through some magnificent countryside and along to the local monastery and beyond. There is also a local vineyard which produces wines and is only a short walk away. Only ten minutes from the cathedral city of Worcester, guests will be able to visit many historic attractions and also enjoy a browse around the many shops, restaurants and cafes. 7 miles south west of Kidderminster and only a short drive from Bewdley and Stourport-on-Severn, there is also plenty to see and do for families and guests of all ages. Local attractions include the West Midlands Safari Park, Severn Valley Steam Railway, Ironbridge and the Bewdley Museum. A little further afield, but still within an hour&rsquo;s drive, guests will be able to visit Birmingham for the NEC and Bullring, Malvern, Droitwich Spa, Tenbury Wells, Alcester and Stratford-upon-Avon.
