Cyclists too will find many enjoyable routes. A 10-minute drive leads to the quaint market town of Pocklington, with its charming independent shops, boutiques and restaurants and an arts centre which plays host to an array of talented artists, musicians and comedians. Close by are the peaceful gardens at Burnby Hall and the fascinating Yorkshire Air Museum. The vibrant city of York is 10 miles away and is easily accessible from the Park and Ride and appeals to all ages with its historic buildings, Jorvik Viking Centre, Railway Museum, theatres and art galleries along with river boat trips, street entertainers and an abundance of restaurants and real ale inns.
