This is an ideal location from which to explore one of Scotland&rsquo;s most picturesque areas, with excellent outdoor activities to be enjoyed, including walking, cycling, fishing, pony trekking and water sports nearby, as well as the West Highland Way and numerous hill and mountain walks, with about 20 munros, hills above 3000ft, within an hour&rsquo;s drive. There is also easy access to golf courses including the Loch Lomond championship course. Cameron House golf and spa and Lomond Shores, offering designer shopping, loch cruises and an aquarium, are about 15 minutes away. Various nearby distilleries, including the famous Glengoyne Distillery, offer tours. Rosmuire is about 3 miles away from Helensburgh with shops, supermarket, pubs and coffee shops, and areas of interest include the Waverley paddle steamer and the National Trust Hill House, which was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1904.
