The Old Mill is adjacent to a clifftop pathway leading to a glorious beach and the Tarka Trail is nearby. . Beach 200 yards. The Old Mill is ideal for a family seaside holiday or a relaxing escape at any time of year. Just a stones throw from the secluded sand, rock and pebble beach it sits in the tiny cliff top hamlet of Bucks Mills, one of the most beautiful in north Devon, a secluded hidden gem with pretty whitewashed cottages dotted along a wooded valley at the end of a no through road. This delightful, spacious, detached holiday home is one of the last adjacent to the steep clifftop pathway which leads down to the glorious beach overlooking Lundy Island and the Atlantic Ocean. There is fishing, bird watching, riding, golf, surfing and sailing close by. The coastal path passes by the cottage and leads to the famous fishing village of Clovelly and the unspoilt beach at Peppercombe, or for the energetic, walk all the way to Westward Ho! A village store and post office is one mile away and nearby Bideford has restaurants and town amenities along with boat trips to Lundy Island, or hire a bike and explore the nearby Tarka Trail. RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Docton Mill and Hartland Quay are well worth a visit along with pretty fishing villages to explore including nearby Instow and Appledore.
