The ‘English Riviera’ is famous for its mild climate and is ideal for year-round breaks. Torquay, with its many amenities is only 4 miles away. These are the perfect properties for family get-togethers, friends’ reunions and celebrations. There are 22 miles of coastline, cliffs, coves, beaches and walks with opportunities for surfing, swimming, diving, sailing and angling. Torquay is an ideal base from which to visit Dartmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth. It is a place in which to relax, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a holiday in a classic English seaside resort. Oddicombe Beach can be reached by foot down a very steep, wooded lane, or choose a more gentle ascent on the historic Babbacombe Cliff Railway. One of only a few original working funicular railways, the Babbacombe Cliff Railway has been transporting visitors up and down the 240 foot cliff-face since 1926.
