This self-contained wing of a former gentleman’s residence is a true home-away-from-home, with its own private hot tub. Situated on a quiet lane with the beach just a mile away, you get the best of both worlds for your holiday. Millom is tranquil, unspoilt and in the stunning Duddon Valley, on the north west coast on the edge of the Lake District National Park, an area where attractions abound. There is easy access to various Lake District amenities, such as Muncaster Castle, Ravenglass Railway, a steam train in Haverthwaite, a zoo in Dalton-in-Furness and a swimming pool nearby. Beaches can be found in Silecroft and Haverigg, which also offers water-skiing and coves. Shopping can be found in Barrow-in-Furness and Whitehaven, both are equi-distant from Millom and can be reached via picturesque routes. Cycling routes are in abundance, and pony trekking can also be found in the area. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, a beach and in the shadow of the Black Combe Fell, this is a haven for walkers and wildlife lovers. Local amenities, a supermarket, pubs and restaurants can all be found within a 5-minute walk from the property. Shop 200 yards, pub 100 yards and restaurant 250 yards.
