This beautiful recently renovated apartment in the heart of the heart of Edinburgh's lucrative Royal Mile. Fabulous 2 bedroom apartment, renovated to a luxurious high standard.

The apartment can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons. There are two bedrooms; these can be made up to be either double or twin rooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The apartment consists of 2 bathrooms.

My apartment is on the first floor of an 18th century tenement with great views across the city. Jackson's Close was named after members of a family called Jackson, this close has no significant history, though the classical scholar William Nichols lived here. It is part if a series of courtyards and alleyways off the Royal Mile. With a unique location, this is the perfect base for your stay in Edinburgh.

Fantastic location!

Sorry Brian! A little late with this review!

Stayed here in May this year - the location simply could NOT be any better. The flat has been decorated to a very high spec and is very comfortable, albeit the bedrooms are extremely small with little space for luggage (but you won't be spending much time there in this wonderful city). Communication with Brian was quick and reliable. He was most helpful on all fronts and was there on time to greet us and show us where everything was. If I return to Edinburgh I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks for a great stay Brian :)

Perfect Location, Beautiful Place!!

First time in Edinburgh and this was the perfect place. The flat is very modern and comfortable in a historic building. All the amenities you need, super comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms, one on each floor, and a beautiful kitchen/living space with great light through the skylights that open to windows. The location couldn't be any better, directly on the Royal Mile. Can walk in one direction to the Castle and the other to the Palace, and everything else in between. Great pubs and restaurants all around. Diagonal to the flat (behind Starbucks) is Civerinos Pizza, serving great pizza and pasta and stays open late, we went twice! Will definitely come back and stay here next time we return!

Nice property, very small

The property was very nicely decorated to a high standard, but as it's in an old building the rooms are very small (not unusual for central Edinburgh though)

My only issues were with the noise from the street at nights, particularly on the weekend, but the location is very central so it's a tradeoff.

Beautiful apartment showing great attention to detail and fantastic location!

It was delightful to spend a week here with our 18 year old granddaughter. The location was superb, close to many excellent restaurants, sights and transportation. Brian has included everything that would make your life comfortable while staying in Edinburgh. Top of the line accessories and attractively furnished, we felt very much at home. Brian was a charmer himself, wanting to ensure that you were happy. He even arrived to help us carry our heavy bags down the steps and stayed with us until the cab arrived. We would highly recommend this apartment and we hope to return here again some day.

We were delighted in every way.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay in Brian's apartment. You can't beat the location. Pubs, restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions just steps away. It's just what we hoped for. Very clean. Everything is new. You enter through a doorway about half way down the "Close", go up 1 flight of stairs, and you're there. Easy access, but safe and secure.
