Set in an elevated position up a farm track, from which the true magnificence of the Yorkshire Dales National Park can be readily appreciated, this refurbished farmhouse retains original features such as beams which in places date back to the 17th century. It is ideally placed for walking direct from the door or for a holiday touring the whole of the Dales. The historic market town of Skipton with its castle, golf course, swimming pool and trips on the canal is just a short drive and offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Whilst the local village of Grassington is even closer to hand and offers individual country shops and has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants. The community in Grassington promotes many activities with special Christmas markets and plays host in summer to a celebration of the arts with concerts as diverse as opera and rock, with individual guest speakers and comedians (tickets can be purchased online). Shops and pub 1 mile.
