Built in 1818, this traditional stone built farmhouse retains much of its original features, with exposed beams, quarry tiled and timber floors, inglenook fireplace with woodburner, parlour and traditional kitchen. The house is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate four adults, but is also small enough to be a cosy retreat for couples wanting a quiet getaway. It has a large private garden with picnic table and slate for barbecue. At the entrance is a large parking area, ideal if you need to bring a trailer for boats. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and adjoining the owner’s property, Llwyn Onn is surrounded by peaceful countryside but is ideally located for the whole of the Llyn Peninsula, from the lively village of Abersoch with its famous watersports and sailing, the numerous beautiful sandy beaches and the ever more popular coastal path walks are all nearby. Without having to expend too much energy, the whole of the peninsula can be explored from here by bicycle, making for a fun day of discovery. Golf, horse riding, sea fishing and boat trips in the bay and to Bardsey, the isle of twenty thousand saints, can all be arranged from here. Shops, pubs and restaurants 2 miles.
