This charming stone building is the smaller one of two delightful properties, set one above the other, next door to The Old Coach House (24689) and in the courtyard of Brook House. These 3 self contained properties (Westbrook 18919, Northbrook 18920 and The Old Coach House (24689) are situated in the peaceful and private Old Brook House Estate located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The characterful Northbrook has stairs leading to the second floor where you will find the cosy living room, kitchen, 2 lovely bedrooms and bathroom. From this level there are also wonderful views over the Brook House gardens and the surrounding area. This property also boasts its own paved courtyard area with table and chairs.There is an abundance of scenery from the rolling countryside to the outstanding heritage coastline offering a great range of walking routes with over 500 miles of footpaths including the The Tennyson Trail, named after the famous poet who once resided on the island. One mile away is the unspoilt golden dark sands of Brook Bay and a little further along the coast is the busier Compton Beach. They both have views of the white cliffs of Freshwater Bay, but it is also a great place to find fossils. At low tide there may even be a chance to see dinosaur footprints in the sandstone ledge at Hanover Point. The small pretty village of Brighstone is only 3 miles way offering a shop, pub, restaurant and a post office. The Isle of Wight offers many places to visit including Chessell Pottery which is a working pottery with a paint studio where you can make a memento to take home with you (1.2 miles). Head towards Niton and you will find Blackgang Chine (8.5 miles), the UK&rsquo;s oldest amusement park which features rides, life-sized dinosaurs pirate ships, fairy villages and much more. If you continue further along towards Ventnor you can visit the octagonal tower of St Catherine&rsquo;s Lighthouse which is situated at the most southerly point of the island, offering views out to the English Channel.
