This charming 19th-century stone built cottage is situated in one of the most beautiful Cotswold villages. Quietly situated within the conservation area of Bourton-on-the-Water, yet only a moments walk from the high street, where the River Windrush meanders through the centre of the village spanned by low hump backed bridges. This beautifully presented and equipped holiday cottage exudes a wealth of character with beamed living room, exposed stonework and stone, mullion windows. There are many excellent restaurants and fine old inns in the village and surrounding area catering for all tastes. Attractions in the village are varied and include The Motor Museum, Birdland, pottery, leisure centre with pool, riding stables and a network of footpaths. The area is a haven for the horticultural enthusiast with Westonbirt Arboretum, Kiftsgate Court, Hidcote Manor and Batsford Arboretum to name but a few, along with many NT properties. Within easy reach are Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, the Regency spa town of Cheltenham, with its famous race course, Oxford and Bath. Shops and pubs 400 yards.
