Pistyll Rhaedr, England and Wales highest waterfall is 4 miles outside the village and a walk to the top affords wonderful views of the surrounding hills. Lake Bala, Lake Vyrnwy, Llangollen and several National Trust properties including Powys Castle and Chirk Castle, are all within an hour&rsquo;s drive.
