Typical house in a unique natural area in Menorca

Payes old house that finds origin in the seventeenth century. Is a spacious and authentic -350 m2-. The house is seated on a hill facing south, from where you can see a vast expanse of agricultural land and livestock, a genuine view of the highest mountain in Menorca -the Toro and even part of the natural harbor Fornells. Before the house is a terrace, and before it lies a large garden of approximately 2500 m2 with all the vegetation and fauna of the area, spacious, stone oven and barbecue, swimming pool -8 x 4 meters- with a shower, solarium and a tennis court. From the house you can take paths and trails towards the sea, about 1 km, or to the interior of the island.

This is a very authentic and old house but with the usual amenities of a modern home. It is practical and suitable for extended families, two or three families, friends and especially those looking for peace, tranquility, space and connect with nature and the Mediterranean Sea. Broadly it has a large porch and dining room, 5 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen with pantry and a lounge. The entrance is a typical shed that distributes the different rooms of the house.

To the left of this covered courtyard there is a large dining room which connects to an authentic country kitchen fully equipped with fridge, oven, microwave, etc. Furthermore, the kitchen has a pantry and a staircase that carries the water tank of the house. In the left side of the house you are also a large room with 2, 3 or 4 beds varies according -number client- preferences.

At the front, behind this porch, the oldest part of the house is. It is a comfortable lounge with rustic fireplace for winter. This room connects with two medium rooms -variable- 2 or 3 beds.

The right side is structured by a bright hallway leading to two bedrooms, one small -with a double-bunk and a big originally intended to house the laborers and farm laborers. In this last room may have 2, 3 or 4 beds as -variable client- preferences. Down the hall the two bathrooms of the house, one large and bright, the other smaller and collected are located. Finally there is a staircase leading to the second floor of the house, reserved for the maintenance of the same.

Rural property located in the north of Menorca. More specifically between the coves of Tirant and Cavalleria. We are in a sparsely populated area of ​​high ecological interest where man and nature have combined harmoniously; in a way that is special in Menorca.

The house sits atop a hill offering visitors views and spectacular natural scenery, especially during autumn and spring. The garden that surrounds the house is grand and has a swimming pool, tennis court and spacious. Apart from the house you can take nature trails that carry within minutes to the north coast and the famous "Horse Riding Track" or rural roads that circulate inside the places of Menorca.

The nearest villages are the traditional fishing village of Fornells which has a significant offer to the sea and Des Mercadal town where there are all kinds of services like restaurants and bars, markets and supermarkets. However, this area is especially known for the pristine beaches of Cavalleria along with the lighthouse, converted into an interpretation center of the area- Binimel. là, Tirant and Pregonda, including small and intimate coves and beaches.
