Great location, clean, modern
This flat was centrally located and on a main, but less traveled street. Did not notice street noise at night. The whole flat was modern and just remodeled, but in an historical building and right down the street from Michelangelo's home. Comfortable for my wife, and two adult/teenage kids. Owner waited up to meet us late at night and was honest and easy to work with. Located just a few blocks from the Uffizi and close to many points of interest. Owner is connected to a driver who was very helpful for rides from Pisa and to Florence airports. Washer and Refrigerator came in handy. Did not cook in kitchen, but could have.
If you are looking for a combination of modern conveniences with contemporary design where everything works with old world charm, this is the place. There are two very comfortable bedrooms separated by the kitchen and living room providing privacy to the occupants. The design and layout are very good with high quality fixtures and windows that seal out any kind of noise and are easily operable to open for fresh air. The bathroom is comfortable and modern with a nice shower and with an amazing compact clothes washing machine that works very well. There is no dryer but we found that the clothes air dried quite easily and also, there is a laundromat just outside the front door of the apartment if a dryer is needed. There is an additional half bath with toilet and sink that is very handy for additional guests. There is a very nice living room with full size dining table that is very comfortable to relax in after a day of sightseeing. Along with the old world charm are 77 steps to climb to the front door with no available elevator. It was a beautiful experience for us but if stairs are a challenge, be forewarned. We had a wonderful time in Florence and this apartment definitely added to our enjoyment of the city. And to top it off, the owner is first rate, very attentive, and kind. If our travels return us to Florence, we would return to this apartment in an instant. A great find.

We had a great time in Florence
We had a great time in Florence . The city is beautifull ! The apt. Is new and romantic , confortable, quiet and clean and well furnished. Every room is very well lighted and exactly as described. The location is in the middle of everything, historic sites and shopping area . We walked everywhere. Some days we rented bikes downstairs and ride around to scenic drives. Next door there is a tourist info where we organized day trips to beaches and hills. The landlord is a friendly person that speaks a good English. Two lovely ladies were waiting for us at the check-in and it was organized that some guys to help us carry the luggages upstairs !we surely recommend this lovely apt. In the heart of Florence
