All rooms are on the same floor of this detached holiday home.
Open plan lounge/kitchen – 2 leather settees, coffee table, bookcase, TV with Freeview channels. Modern kitchen with breakfast bar, electric oven with grill, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster plus the usual crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, dishes and utensils.
Second lounge – folding dining room table with chairs, cane lounge furniture. Patio doors leading to small garden.
Bedroom – double bed with bedside cabinets and table lamps.
Single bedrooms – 2 further bedrooms with a single bed in each room.
Family bathroom – modern bathroom with electric shower over bath, wash hand basin and toilet.
Outside – small garden. Parking to the side of the property for one car.
The heating is electric throughout the holiday home. The shower is a separate electric shower.
All heating, electricity, bedding, personal hand & bath towels & tea towels are included in the price. Supplies include a starter supply of wash powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning liquids, liquid soaps and toilet rolls.
A cot and high chair are available at a cost of £15.
Well behaved dogs can stay at a cost of £15 per dog (max 2).
This is a non- smoking home.
A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking on the day of booking with the final balance due no later than 6 weeks before arrival date.
A refundable security deposit of £50 is due as part of your final balance payment.
Really loved the cottage - it was a perfect base for us and very convenient for walking to the village and the golf club. Felt very at home.
The only issue we had was that the agency had not confirmed to the key holder that our dates had changed from the original booking so when we arrived on Thursday night we couldn't access the property which was a slight niggle given the long drive and that it was 9.30 at night. The key holder was very apologetic but this obviously was not her fault.
This did not detract in any way from our enjoyment of the cottage, but feel it needs to be noted. We would definitely stay here again.
Had a great stay at the Coach House in Dornoch. It was clean, spacious and well equipped. It had off street parking and it was in a great location . The owner had provided some tasty treats on arrival which were very welcoming. It had outdoor seating and an enclosed garden for the dog . He had a great time. Would definitely come back.
The Coach House is ideally located in Dornoch for the beach, golf and town. It is dog friendly and has an outside area for eating. The Coach House itself has 3 bedrooms and is clean and comfortable.
We were welcomed nicely and enjoyed a pleasant stay in what is a well-maintained, comfortable cottage. Everything we needed was provided for. We would stay here again if we visit Dornoch again.
We had a most enjoyable time in this lovely cottage. Very clean and we'll equipped. Highly recommended. Conveniently located. Good parking and friendly local people.
Everything was as expected. The building is unimposing from the outside and simply furnished within. One of the single rooms is very small and the two reception rooms at either end of the house are unconventional. There is a small garden which gets the evening sun.
As you arrive in Dornoch drive through the town passing the Cathedral on the left and Castle on the right. At the T junction turn left then immediately right up the hill passed the police station on the right.
Follow the road taking the next left onto MacDonald Road. Then immediately left again turning in at the back of the houses onto Murray Road.
The Coach House is 20 yards along on the left. Parking is beside the house.
