A modern light and airy 2 bedroom apartment, arranged over two floors, with private off street parking and a wonderful south facing terrace, to enjoy your breakfast or have an evening drink, looking out to expansive views over the roofs of Cambridge.

The apartment is centrally located, just a 15 minute walk away from the historic town centre, market square and University colleges. Be inspired by the many beautiful museums and art galleries. Admire the beautiful architecture and majestic college buildings. Explore quaint passages set around the historic market place and colleges, where a unique and relaxing shopping experience can be found.

This apartment has an open plan living room and kitchen and can accommodate 6 guests. A warm sunny flat with two charming and comfortable carpeted bedrooms and one bathroom on the lower floor. While the sofa bed is upstairs in the living room which can sleep a further two guests, either as two single beds or one double.

The flat is a stones throw from the Grafton Centre for all the shops, including the department store Debenhams and a cinema complex with 8 screens. There are many small cafes and restaurants on the near by Burliegh Street and a small Waitrose supermarket for all your grocery needs.

The train station is 1 mile away, a 20 minute walk or a short taxi ride and the National Express coach stop is a 6 minute walk away on Parkers Piece.

Well situated for lots of shopping which suited the girls, yet handy to getting out of town. Two nice bedrooms with a good amount of room for two couples. Lounge had plenty of seating, well appointed kitchen

This apartment was a great place to stay in Cambridge. Shaunagh was lovely and really flexible with timing, as well as helpful and prompt to reply to emails before our arrival. It's rare to find a place that is so beautiful, close to the centre of the city, and complete with everything one might need for a longer stay, including a parking spot, washing machine, and full kitchen. The beds were really comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A Perfect Base for Exploring Cambridge and Surroundings

Two of us booked the flat for four nights. It worked great for two, but would also be perfect for two couples. The location is great - easy access to shopping at Burleigh Street and Grafton Centre - we used Waitrose for some basic groceries, wine, and snacks. As well as to pubs and restaurants - we had a lovely dinner at The Burleigh Arms, just north of the apartment. The walk to the centre of Cambridge (about 15 minutes) was easy and attractive, through New Square and Christ's Pieces. We had a car and spent our days exploring the countryside around Cambridge, as well as visiting Ely, and the access to secure, predictable, dedicated parking was a huge bonus. Also, the location of the flat meant it was easy to get out to the countryside without cutting through the busy centre of town. The flat was a "home away from home" and pretty much every time we looked for something, we found it. We even cooked in one evening, which we don't normally do on vacation. The folding glass wall to the terrace was a lovely feature, and we spent most of our evenings with the doors open, enjoying the view over Cambridge (and the full moon while we were visiting). The bedrooms are on the lower floor (two levels above the street), and both were attractive and comfortable. All of the furnishings, kitchen items, linens, and artwork appeared thoughtfully selected and added to the comfortable ambience of the flat. Shaunagh was a pleasure to deal with, and arrived promptly at the flat even when we adjusted our arrival time an hour early. The flowers, milk, and treats were a lovely and thoughtful addition. Shaunagh was quick to provide ideas of things to do and recommendations (although we did not get out punting on the River Cam!) Overall, we were very pleased with our stay, and the flat would be our first choice for a return visit to Cambridge.

Very nice place, perfect location

We spent a week in this apartment, booked at the last minute after a previous booking in Cambridge fell through. The location is ideal, adjacent to the Grafton Center for shopping, and within a short (5 min) walk of a number of pubs, coffee shops, and restaurants. Waitrose and Tesco grocery stores as well as the Poundland discount store are all within 5 min walk or less as well. The center of Cambridge and the University is no more than a 15 minute walk away (less than 1 mile), so no car is needed here (although the unit does have a dedicated parking place); a car would be an expensive nuisance in Cambridge in any case. Finally, it is also within a 5 min walk of the National Express bus stop with service to and from Heathrow (and other airports), so one can arrive here from Heathrow and walk to the apartment without hiring a taxi.

The apartment itself seems quite new inside, recently updated I guess, and very clean and well-appointed, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was nice. Shaughnah & Fiona provided excellent service, met us at the place and again when we left, and were available by phone for any problems (although we didn't have any). Comfortable and well-maintained. The kitchen/living area and one of the two bedrooms had floor-to-ceiling windows and abundant natural light. All appliances and the bathroom things worked perfectly.

We would certainly stay here again if we should return to Cambridge. It was comfortable for the three of us (a couple and our adult son) and would be workable for two couples, if they could manage with a single bathroom. Shortcomings of the place were limited closet space and the two narrow flights of stairs up to the apartment, both of which are typical for Cambridge apartments. We have rented many times through HomeAway/VRBO and this is one of the nicest places in which we have stayed.
