Bedrooms 3
Space 2,000 sq. ft.
Property type lodge
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

3 bedrooms, 3 baths, sleeps 11 in beds, 2000 square ft.

Whitetail Lodge is an ideal get-away nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Northwest Montana. Overlooking scenic Glen Lake, this lodge has a breathtaking view from its spacious deck. It also includes one RV site with full hook-ups. This cabin features large log beams and wood floors and ceilings. Games and movies are provided for the little ones making it an excellent family destination.

Whitetail Lodge is located on the west side of scenic Glen Lake in a heavily wooded, very secluded and private area. Large windows facing Glen Lake also give a spectacular view of the mountains that rise up from the opposite shore of Glen Lake.

Glen Lake is a picture perfect mountain lake. It warms up nicely in the summer for swimming, is large enough for boating and water skiing with a public boat launch and is full of trout and salmon if you like to fish. You may spot an Osprey or Bald Eagle doing fishing of their own. Frequently, Whitetail deer will be seen in the front yard feeding in the morning.

Quiet Lovely Cabin & Helpful Owners

  • 5 of 5

This tucked away cabin has a sensible and pleasant layout along with a well-equipped kitchen including sharp knives, cutting boards, baking sheets, etc. The well water has a terrific refreshing taste, and it's wonderful in the shower which has strong pressure and flow. Soft towels and all the amenities of home were provided including extra blankets for those cold nights. During my winter stay, the area was very quiet. The owners kept me informed about the weather conditions ensuring I would arrive and depart safely. I enjoyed watching the deer forage in the forest framed with the background of a beautiful lake and mysterious mountains. A wonderful stay indeed!

Great spot for further adventures around NW Montana and BC

  • 5 of 5

6 of us stayed in this beautiful and well-equipped cabin for 4 days of local adventures. If you have an extreme need to stay connected to cell service and the internet, this probably isn't where you should stay, but we all appreciated the break from our 24/7 world. Nice kitchen and game room, and bed space for at least 8. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean with a Great view!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. The views of the lake in the morning are amazing. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were surprisingly comfortable as well (all of them, not just the master). Might be nice to add some blinds to the bedrooms, it gets light quite early in the summer. No internet and no cell coverage was a curse and a blessing. It made it quite hard to coordinate with other family in the area. That said, if you need to get away and clear your head it's fantastic. :)

Owner's Response: Glad you had such a nice time! Cell coverage is spotty with AT&T but Verizon coverage is much better. We will look into bringing in internet for renters who want it, but most enjoy the opportunity to disconnect for a few days.

We loved it!

  • 4 of 5

Great for our family of 6 plus grandpa! We had fun playing cards, talking with one another and sitting in the chairs looking out at the lake. It would be nice to have a way to play music...Maybe a plug in or Bluetooth speaker that can connect to a phone. Or maybe a WiFi connection (although I can completely understand how it would be nice to not be connected at ALL times 😊򒠠). The movies were a hit with my teenage daughters because they hadn't seen many of them since they were little.

Well appointed cabin in a beautiful spot

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is about 10 minutes away from the town of eureka. It is very well kept, with many beds, sheets, and everything you would need for cooking. The place was clean and newish, and the view of the lake was gorgeous. To access the lake you need to drive for 5 minutes to a public park, which is nice, but there were so many motor boats and jet skiski roaring by that it was our favorite place. A 1 hour drive into the 10 lakes wilderness, however, brought us to gorgeous, calm lakes and great hikes. Glacier is 1.5 hours away and was also lovely. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. Over all, this was a great vacation.
