Caribbean Yachting Holidays purchased this yacht in 2009
Our Dufour 45 performance is a very modern yacht with all the benefits that go with it. It is immaculately maintained and a pleasure to be on board. If your fed up with tatty mainstream charter boats that always give problems, fed up with spending all day in the supermarket provisioning, fed up with the responsibility of skippering and parking. Then this is for you, relax and let us do all the hard work. Our holidays are fully inclusive.
Sailing around the Grenadines is undoubtedly the best sailing in the world. We have consistent wind every day, beautiful clear blue water. Lots of fantastic anchorages giving plenty of time for swimming off the back of the yacht. Relaxing in the evening at anchor in Tobago Cays is an unforgettable experience. Join us.
We've been sailing before, but this was our most favorite experience. The Katerina Yacht is in beautiful shape and feels very cozy & comfortable. After 5 minutes on board, you feel right at home. Sailing the Grenadines is an amazing journey. You'll get to see so many beautiful sights. Snorkeling, exploring beaches & just relaxing when anchored, gives you many different expereinces so you'll never be bored. One of our favorite stops was at Happy Island, where we enjoyed great RumPunch on the island (that the owner built!). But the reason this excursion is so special is bc of the Capt & Crew. Capt. Scott & Julia both sail and make you feel very safe, even when you're racing against the wind. Scott knows how to navigate through the Grenadines like a champ! They're also open to teaching you how to sail if you wish. Julia takes such great care of you. She cooks the best meals too! Every dish was so deliciuous. You'll find yourself saying "mmmm" the whole meal. (For fresh seafood, request a lobster from Neal, you won't be disapointed.)
We 100% percent recommend booking a trip on the Katerina. You will not be disapointed!
We spent a week having experiences that aren't available any other way except on the Katerina! What memories! The Katerina is captained by the Weston's (also the owners of the ship) and they are as knowledgeable about sailing and the Grenada/Grenadine islands as anyone. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for an adventure with experienced guides that make it even better!
Just the perfect amt of room for our family of 4...everything was clean and comfortable.
Loved hearing the knowledge of the islands from Julia and Scott-just as much as seeing all the beautiful places!
My wife and I spent a glorious holiday with Scott and Julia on S/Y Katerina. With a captain and hostess we had a carefree and relaxing sailing trip with none of the hassles bareboat charters bring. The trip was tailored to our requirements, the boat superb and we benefitted from the extensive local knowledge our hosts provided. We had all the advantages of having our own yacht and none of the worries and work. We would thoroughly recommend Caribbean Yachting Holidays as the very best way to sail the Grenadines.
My husband and I spent 5 days on the boat with Scott and Julia, we loved our experience sailing through Grenada and SVG and would highly recommend it. Scott and Julia are very knowledgeable and experienced sailers, they made us feel comfortable and shared their passion for sailing. They are both very friendly and well travelled. They really went out of their way to accommodate my food allergies and Julia took care of all the paper work related to immigration and customs, making sure it was a hustle free trip for us. Thank you for showing us a great time.
We have previously done bare boat charters in the Caribbean, but this new service caught our attention - and we though why bother to do all the work ourselves. What a wonderful surprise! Scott and Julia were so friendly and helpful! Not at all like our last experience. Plus I actually learned a lot from Scott who is very professional and experienced. It was a revelation.
Thank you both very much. We plan on seeing you again in another year or so.
You are based in Port Louis Marina. You are on the local number 1 bus route which costs $1 US pp on this you can visit St Georges town and Grand Anse beach. Day tours of the island are very popular with lots to see. There is an on site bar and restaurant, spa/beauty salon and swimming pool.
