This traditional Harkers Island home is the perfect place to unwind from the hurried world. Originally built in 1925, this water view home is in the middle of the quaint island known as Harkers Island. Even though this island is off the beaten path, it boasts some of best fishing and hunting around. You are minutes from the famous Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament that takes place in June and it is home to some of the world renowned decoy carvers which can be seen at the Decoy Festival the first weekend in December.
You can take a ferry to Cape Lookout seashore and go shelling or shop in the quaint shops of downtown Beaufort.
This home has 3 bedrooms, two baths and sleeps up to 8. If you have your own boat, there is a public boat ramp right up the road and covered parking at the house for your boat and car.

Property was as described. Clean & tidy and property owner was helpful with area suggestions. Very convenient to Island Ferry to Cape Lookout.

Second to none!

Rae is a wonderful host. The house was full of little "extras" that even made it more special. I would recommend her place to any group that is looking for a place to stay. And I will definitely stay there again when the occasion arises

Hunting trip

Property is awesome. Plenty of space for four duck hunters to come in and relax and warm up after hunting. Rae always kept in touch about any problems that may be happening on the island. 10 out of 10.
