Very nice place to stay while in Rome

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place!

We couldn't have been more pleased!

The owner Alessandra set up our transportation from the Rome airport and he was waiting there with a Mercedes van when we arrived.

Alessandra was waiting outside the apartment for us when we got there and showed us up to the apartment and gave us a tour of how everything worked, she is very proud of here place.

The apartment is just as nice as its pictures.

The balconies had fantastic views, in the morning we had breakfast on the main balcony and in the evening we had drinks on the upper balcony.

The kitchen was well equipped and there was a grocery store downstairs.

Alessandra even helped us make our travel arrangements when we left Rome to head north, which was very helpful.

This is a great place and will stay there again on our next visit.

This is the best in Rome

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is amazing. The views are spectacular and there is no better location in Rome to stay if you want to walk to all of the sites. The apartment was very clean, extremely well furnished, and so pleasant. The owner took the time to show us how to operate everything and has detailed notes as well in case you need a refresher. We loved this home and were very sad to have to leave!

The very best ever!

  • 5 of 5

I am tempted to tell you that this place was terrible and advise you not to stay here because I am concerned that I'll never be able to book it again if I tell everyone how wonderful it was.

The photos tell the truth. This beautiful, spacious, stylish apartment is full of class, sophistication and oozes character. The two impeccably cared for terraces are amazing and the view is of course unique, overlooking the the ruins of the site of Julius Caesar's murder. The ruins are now home to 150 homeless cats that are cared for by local volunteers. (I'm not keen on cats but I'm sure some of you are. I only counted six of them, they must be shy). Three bedrooms and three bathrooms are ideal, one bathroom is small but fine for children. There is a fabulous spa bath in the en-suite to the master bedroom. We are a family of three generations, four adults and two children. The living area easily accommodates six people and there is a formal dining room as well as the gorgeous terraces for breakfast and drinks etc at the end of your day of site seeing. The kitchen is very adequately stocked with appliances, crockery, glassware etc. It is quite quirky but very functional. There is also a large laundry.

The apartment is so centrally located to everywhere, walking is no effort. There was a heatwave when we were there in July 2017 and the air-conditioning was amazing.

One piece of advice would be "not" to use the "Big Bus Company" for your Hop on hop off experience. They were inefficient, unreliable and totally lacked communication skills but I won't bore you with the details.

Our host and owner of this heavenly home was waiting to great us and explain everything in detail. We loved our experience so much that if we could afford to have this apartment as our permanent holiday home we would make an offer to buy it. Thank you so much Alessandra, we do hope we will meet again. Janet & Stuart D

A Beautiful Oasis in the heart of Rome

  • 5 of 5

We shared the apartment with three couples. There is plenty of space for six adults to move around and relax, although one of the bathrooms is small. The views, especially from the deck, are incredible. I really can't express the beauty of the terraces and the view from the unit. The unit is quiet, secure, and it is an easy walk to most of the main attractions in Rome. We did take a cab to the Vatican, but could have walked if needed. There is a taxi stand and a bus stop just across the way, so any form of transportation is easy. The owner, Alessandra, is extremely nice, and has books, recommendations, and business cards for restaurants, bars and other activities.

Luxurious Roman Holiday Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Argentina Luxury Terrace is a beautiful Roman Apartment decorated by a world traveler with every accommodation you would ever want. The air conditioning was such a nice treat after long days of sight seeing in the heat. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with wonderful dishes and fantastic wine glasses.Perfectly clean. Apartment was perfectly comfortable with hair dryer, TVs in bedroom (didn't watch TV though), shampoo and soap provided. Wonderful to have 3 sleeping areas and 3 baths. Perfect location centered in the heart of Rome. We walked everywhere except on a few occasions when time was an issue.

Allessandra was a beautiful host who met us upon arrival and held our luggage until the room was ready. She has great pride in her home and pride as a hostess. She has a book of wonderful advice for dining and site seeing. She kindly arranged transportation to the airport for us. 60 euros. If you stay there, show her great respect by leaving the apartment clean and tidy.

My favorite part of the trip was dinner on the gorgeous romantically lit floral terrace and drinking wine at night on the terrace while the sun set. Stunning views I will never ever forget in my lifetime. This stay has left a mark on my heart and a longing to return as soon as I possibly can. It was perfect for our family. I only wished we could have stayed there longer.

A few other things that were a plus:

There was always a cab lined up right below the apartment. You could see them from our window. We were also able to secure a taxi that would transport the 5 of us. All taxis were clean and had trustworthy drivers. Trip to Vatican was 10-12 euros for the 5 of us.

There was a grocery store right on the corner of the building. There was a tiny store with wine and snacks around the opposite corner. Keep your eyes open when you head to Trevi Fountain as there is a larger, very nice grocery store on that path. (Sorry I don't remember name)

Was fun to look down upon the ruins at sunset and look to see cats that would come out at night. I am not a cat fan, but it was kind of fun.

I could go on and on about this place. Grazie Mille Alessandra!

Italian perfection!!

  • 5 of 5

We LOVED this apartment in the heart of Rome. Perfect location - walkable to everything. Air conditioned which was helpful in the Rome summer. Plenty of room for our family of six - well appointed with a very Italian feel to it. When we walked in my kids nearly screamed with joy at the beauty and size of it! The best part - the absolutely stunning terraces (two of them with amazing views!!). Alessandra was so helpful and lovely - we really cannot say enough great things about this apartment. We will most definitely be back!!!
