1 Bedroom 2nd Floor Apartment Close to Beach With Lovely Bay Views

On the 2nd Floor tucked cosily under the eaves with lovely views across Torbay. It has l-shaped lounge/diner, family bedroom, shower room with walk in shower, galley kitchen and breakfast bar in hallway with views across to sea.

Lounge has 2 settees, one opening out to a small double bed, TV and DVD, with dining table and chairs in l-shaped alcove.

The galley kitchen has a double oven ceramic cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and is fully equipped for up to 6. In the hallway off the kitchen there is a breakfast bar area where you can sit and watch the world go by through the roof windows.

The shower room has a walk in glass shower cubicle, sink and toilet.

Situated right in the heart of the English Riviera, just round the corner from Preston Sands, close to shops, family pubs and restaurants but in lovely quiet residential corner.

We have a car park and garden to the rear of the house with a parking space for each apartment.

Free WiFi is also available.

Main Changeover day is Saturday

Short breaks - Monday to Friday 4 night midweek or Friday to Monday 3 night weekend - available outside the main holiday season

Weekly stays - 7 nights starting on Saturday

10 and 11 night stays available outside of the main season

Please note that we would advise that the apartment is suitable for up to a family of 5 - either as 2 adults and 3 children or 3 adults and 2 children. Thank you.

Cots and highchairs free of charge by prior arrangement.

Towels can be provided for a small extra charge (but please note that we do not provide beach towels).

We spent 3 years looking for the right property in just the right location. Not too big so that we could provide the 'personal touch', and each apartment has it's own great personality and quirkiness. As soon as we walked into the house you could feel the warmth of it's personality with it's bright, light and airy rooms, with each apartment being totally different!

There is also a unique 'villagy' feel to Lower Preston, the lovely gently shelving family beach, the pretty beach huts lining the promenade and friendliness of the people who live here.

Local facilities are also very good, family pubs with live music, restaurants, theatres with lively and varied entertainment, great attractions many of which are within walking distance.

Torbay - or The English Riviera as it is known - is made up of the 3 very different towns of Paignton, Torquay and Brixham. This gives you a very varied and colourful assortment of entertainment, attractions, facilities, activities and night life within the Bay.

For those that love the countryside we are situated right on the SW coast path, Dartmoor is a stones throw and even Cornwall just 25 miles away! We are therefore a great base for most of Devon and Cornwall.

The Apartment was very clean, in a quiet area of Paignton yet just a couple of minutes away from Beach and town.

The owners of the property were on hand to offer directions, things to do and see, and just generally helpful.

Property is small but cosy. Well equipped with friendly and helpful owners.

Our stay was 7 nights and it was myself, my 3 children and their "aunty". The loft is self catering and has one bedroom with a double bed and a set of bunk beds. Overall the place was small but was nice and cosy. It consists of a kitchen, bathroom, one bedroom and sitting room.When the bedroom felt over crowded I slept on the sofa bed in the sitting room. We went down for Xmas break and had a real family Xmas on the day. My children thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Guys Cliffes as did I.

The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Always happy to help out or give advice on the best touristic places to go for the time of year.

While we didn't get to do our steam train and boat cruise due to early closure because of bad weather, we all still had a good time. Lots of places to go and lots to see. The beach was beautiful to look at and Paignton is a pretty place.

All you need is local and minutes away on foot. We had no problems in buying our shopping for the week when we got there.

My children have already asked if we can go back in the summer to visit the water park. I would completely recommend Guys Cliffes as the place to stay if you're heading to Paignton, Devon.

Although we are situated in a quiet residential area, Preston Sands and Green, pubs, restaurants, shops and facilities are all close. Oldway Mansion, Paignton sands, Paignton Pier, a multiplex cinema, Pirate Bay Golf and Geopark are just a few minutes flat walk away. Paignton Zoo, Quaywest Water Park, Living Coasts, Dinosaur World, Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway are within a 2 mile radius, Kents Caverns, Babbacombe Model Village, Bygones, Babbacombe Cliff Railway are 3 to 4 miles away. Torquay is just 1 mile, Brixham, Totnes and Dartmouth just 5 miles.
