Delightful apartment on top two floors of a 4 storey Victorian building, overlooking Bowness village and the mountains.

Close to all amenities and five minutes walk from the lake with country walks from the door

.Access is by a stairway to the 3 bedroomed property, one ensuite double, a double and single room and family bathroom.

An airy lounge with bay windows giving views of the mountains with a coal effect gas fire for the cooler months. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and microwave.

Situated on a Cul-de-Sac away from the main road and is very quiet. Biskey Howe viewpoint is 5 minutes walk up the hill, which gives stunning views of the lake and mountains

Car parking permit is available and there is plenty of free parking on the road by Ellie's View

WiFi available and Welcome pack, maps, books, DVD's and much more await you.

Touring buses go around the lakes leaving from Bowness too!

A whole range of country walks offer themselves from our as well as Biskey Howe view point, a must to visit, to whet your appetite for further adventure!

We had a lovely stay at Ellie's View in Bowness. Location just a few minutes walk to Lake Windermere and all amenities on way to the Lake. Comfortable and clean property with all items that we needed for our stay - thank you!

Amazing stay with a stunning view of Bowness

The property was very well located and quiet. It was an amazing experience and Ellie's view is very well named as the view over Bowness was stunning. Property was well equity we didn't want for anything extra great weekend break and Ellie's view is high recommended.

Great location for easy access to all amenities. Has everything you need.

Had a lovely time. Quiet area. Very central for walks. Shops, restaurants, the lake within easy walking distance. Property very clean and tidy and has everything that you would need. The only thing I missed on a lovely sunny day was sitting outside in a garden. Would recommend and would stay again

Absolut enttäuschend und nicht zu empfehlen / Absolutely disappointing and not recommended

Wir verliessen uns auf die guten Bewertungen und waren bitter enttäuscht. Einzig die Lage des Hauses war gut! Als wir ankamen mussten wir erst staubsaugen und danach die stinkende Bettwäsche und Frottewäsche waschen. Alle Kästen und Kommoden waren innwendig schmutzig. Ebenfalls die Küchengeräte (zum Beispiel der Toaster). Auch waren wir entsetzt über den Gesamtzustand der Wohnung. Alte, teilweise kaputte Möbel (Kleiderkästen). Die Einrichtung besteht aus Billigmöbeln. Das Duvet im Einzelbettzimmer war eine absolute Zumutung. Die Kopfkissen rochen grauenhaft, die durch uns frisch gewaschene Bettwäsche konnte dies nicht verändern. Gerne hätten wir mit dem Vermieter direkt Kontakt aufgenommen, aber im gesamten Appartement haben wir keine Kontaktadresse, weder vom Vermieter noch von einer anderen Ansprechperson, gefunden! Wir haben uns dann schriftlich an FeWo gewandt, aber auch diese verwiesen uns an den Vermieter. Wir sind Vielreisende und haben schon einiges erlebt, aber diese Wohnung können wir unter keinen Umständen empfehlen!
