What makes this Villa unique
Due to it's excellent location this property is perfect for families, just walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. From the villa to the beachfront the walk is about 10 minutes. <br><br> Keeping the children entertained here is a simple task with so much entertainment available: Table tennis, Apple TV, Playstation 3 and a wide choice of holiday reads. <br><br> Can Barbas has a lovely outdoor area with plenty of seating areas and sun loungers, there is also a built-in barbecue and wooden pizza oven, large pool, hot tub, plenty of lawn to play on and terraces for sunbathing. <br><br> The villa is very popular as an 'all generations' villa with families bringing grandparents and grandchildren to stay as it is spacious and well located. <br><br> <h2>Things to know </h2> If you wish to use the Apple TV we recommend downloading content before you arrive to Mallorca as many streaming services are not available overseas unless you have activated a VPN service on your device. <br><br> Although all the bedrooms have A/C, the rest of the house is simply cooled by the fresh outdoor breeze and does not have A/C. <br><br> Being in a residential area often means you are close to many places, however, if you need to go to the supermarket on a regular basis for heavy items, explore some of the island, or have small children, a car is recommended. <br><br> The ground floor is on different levels with a few steps separating the living room, kitchen and dining room. Pictures are a very good representation of the property. Very spacious and homely, modern too in very good condition. Loads of kitchen equipment and towels for inside and by the pool. Lovely little touches. Location area quiet and walking distance is only 10 mins to nearby shops and beach. Perfect. Will book again
Port de Pollença (or Puerto de Pollensa) is a hugely popular holiday destination for families coming to Mallorca. Originally a small fishing village, Port de Pollença has been built around a now much larger harbour than back in the day. With a large stretch of pedestrianised seafront promenade this is a very family friendly resort and there is plenty of beach to go with it. The bay is stunning with it’s views of the mountains and sheltered, calm waters. On offer are fantastic restaurants and cafes as well as plenty of daytime activities on the beach. For more active people, hiking and biking in the area is also five stars.
The weekly fruit and vegetable market is a real highlight and takes place every Wednesday from 8am - 1pm selling fresh, local produce.
