The property was beautifully maintained and comfortable. It is close to many wonderful restaurants and pubs. Great environment for a relaxing evening, yet a short bus ride to the bustle of downtown Dublin.
Hello , Many thanks for your review . I am delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to have you stay again soon .
Met ALL of Our Expectations!!
Lovely, pristine clean, well equipped, great view, spacious & the Best Location!! The 3 of us did not wish to spend the first 4 days of our 18 day Ireland trip in Dublin but wished to be close to Dublin. Having the train just 1/2 block away we could access downtown Dublin in matter of 30 minutes. However we loved the village of Howth and the many choices of places to dine that Valerie suggested, we only ran into Dublin once. Valerie was quick to respond to all of our questions regarding where to go to listen to local musicians, eat or how something might be operated in her beautiful Holiday home. The beds , linens & furnishings are top quality!! Step out the front door and the harbor of Howth is just across the road! It was a quick $30.00 taxi ride from the airport to reach Howth. We had an amazing 4 day stay and plan to return to this beautiful flat!
Hello Deborah ,
Many thanks for your review .I am very glad you all enjoyed your stay and look forward to having you back again .
Location, Location, Location!!!!
We had a wonderful stay at Valerie's place in Howth! The location could not have been better and the huge windows looking over the working fishing village framed a fantastic view of the water and boats. Everything anyone would need and more was provided in the flat. There was so much to do in and around Howth, but if one wishes to travel further around the area, the public transit was fantastic...bus and train a block away. The cliff walk was fabulous!
Would highly recommend this flat. Thank you for sharing your home with us Valerie! We look forward to a return visit!
Hello Darla ,

Second Stay- Great Location
Really perfect for enjoying Dublin and experiencing an Irish fishing village. No need for a car, just catch the DART into Dublin. Great walks around the cliffs and the village, good restaurants and markets within walking distance. Apartment is well appointed and clean. Thanks Valarie I am sure we will book again.

Hello Roger ,
Thank you for your review . I am happy you liked everything .
Hope to see you again soon .
The picturesque Howth Peninsula is located on the North East of Dublin City ,just a short train ,bus or car journey from Dublin city centre .
Howth is a bustling working harbour where you can watch fishermen landing their catch and where you can experience the freshest seafood in Dublin. Fantastic fish shops , I recommend Nicky's plaice . Many restaurants along the pier to choose from.
Stroll around the harbour or the winding streets where there are plenty of shops ,interesting sights and stunning views . Relax with a drink in one of the many local pubs or enjoy the hospitality of the many restaurants and cafes.Experience a traditional evening of Irish music ,song and dance in a 16th century tavern .
There are many reminders of the area's rich history, including the 12th century Abbey, Martello Tower, Museums and Aideen's Grave (located in Deer Park ),which is believed to date from 2500BC.
Take one of the many exhilorating looped walks or ferry trips to experience Howth's diverse natural beauty - a paradise for bird watchers and plant lovers .Climb to the summit for panoramic views of Dublin Bay or stroll the sandy beaches.
Enjoy the many water related activities and the friendly atmosphere that make Howth the ideal destination for a great Holiday for all .
