Whitley Farm Dairy, near Sidmouth, is a detached stone cottage, full of charm and character. Its spacious accommodation sleeps 4 people. This 17th century converted dairy nestles amongst the rolling Devon fields in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is an idyllic rural retreat, offering total privacy in a quiet and secluded position, having its own driveway, yard, patio and grassed garden. It is equipped with dog proof fencing and has views of open countryside. This is the ideal holiday cottage for those wanting peace and quiet, birdsong and stargazing, just a stone's throw from the coast.

Whitley Farm Dairy is part of Whitley Farm and neighbours the farmhouse and cottage, while remaining private and secluded. Whitley Farm is a smallholding of 10 acres, with chickens, sheep and a small herd of Dexter beef cattle. You are welcome to join us for chicken feeding, egg collection and lamb petting.

The Dairy has easy access to Honiton golf Course, Devenish Pitt riding stables and many footpaths including the East Devon Way, and yet is only a 15 minute drive from the Jurassic coast's seaside towns of Beer, Branscombe, and Sidmouth. Lyme Regis is a little further, about 25 minutes drive.

The closest town for all amenities is Honiton, 8 minutes drive, which has a Tesco and Lidl supermarket. There is a Waitrose in Sidmouth, 15 minutes drive, and a Sainsburies in Ottery St Mary, 10 minutes drive. Or you could arrange to have your groceries delivered.

There are many pubs and restaurants within a 10 minute drive.

Inside the cottage there is a spacious open plan living area with exposed beams, TV with DVD and French doors to the patio entertaining area. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a dining area. Ground floor double bedroom with king size bed, exposed beams and views of the fields. Shower room with hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. Stairs from the living rom lead to an open plan galleried second bedroom with twin beds. Stair gate provided.

Presented to a high standard thoughout, with comfortable furnishings, lovely beds and high quality White Company towels and bedlinen.

We are family friendly and provide a high chair, travel cot, baby bath.

Dogs welcome. Free Wifi.

Very comfortable and relaxing and easy to keep clean.

We chose this property for our 50th Wedding Anniversary holiday, and we are so glad we did. We had a very relaxing time in the heart of the countryside, listening to the sound of the many different birds and the lambs and cows. It was very handy to visit the coastal resorts. We really liked Brancsombe and Sidmouth

The Cottage was very comfortable and everything was .there that we needed.

Delightful and peaceful

If you want to escape then this place is perfect. Perfect weather just a bonus. Comfortable and cosy accommodation, good facilities and well equipped. Sympathetic doggie secure garden with plenty of places for 'spaniel noses' to explore. As near to perfect for a getaway holiday escaping the rat race. No phone signal (not an issue) i couldnt connect to Wi-Fi (not an issue). Double bed dreamy, nice and clean facilities. All in all, we aim to return.

We loved our stay and had a really restful holiday. The place was beautiful, really lovely decor and everything you could need. Lots of fantastic places and things to do in the area, coastal walks, country pubs, fossil hunting, climbing etc. We loved it and will recommend to everyone heading that way.

We had the most perfect week. The cottage is beautiful and so clean. We arrived to a lovely welcome pack for both us and the dogs! It is a really dog friendly cottage with a safe and enclosed garden. Beautiful location and so relaxing,would highly recommend this to anyone,especially if you are looking for a dog friendly place!

We enjoyed a perfect weeks stay at the Dairy. The cottage is ideally placed for touring the south Devon coast. The cottage is well furnished and equipped with a private outside eating area and ample parking.

The Cottage is 10 to 15 minutes drive from the Jurassic coast and its towns of Sidmouth, Beer, Branscombe and Seaton, whilst being Iocated in a tranquil rural spot in the lush green Devon countryside.
