Built in 2005, Pierre de Lune 011 is a large (150 sq/m) flat in a private chalet containing only 5 apartments.It is located in Verbier, a 5 minute bus ride from Place Centrale. The bus is free and the bus stop is a 2m walk from the chalet. There is another ski lift called Les Savoleyres which is a 5 minute walk from the chalet.The 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor, two of which open onto the garden terrace through French windows. The third bedroom is the largest and is located to the rear of the property and although this one does not have any windows it is very well ventilated.All rooms are en-suite, with one bathroom and two shower-rooms. The showers are powerful and there is an unlimited supply of hot water. There is plenty of storage with built-in wardrobes in all rooms.The beds are sturdy and very comfortable, duvets and pillows are made from down and the bed linen is cotton.There is also a washing machine and a separate dryer in the apartment.All rooms have underfloor heating, regulated by individual thermostats in each room ensuring you come home to a warm reception. Stone floors and rugs throughout add to the alpine experience, with subtle wood walls and furniture and wall lighting in the sitting room.A large flat screen television, connected to the cable network which has several English speaking channels including BBC, ITV and Sky News, mean you can keep abreast of current affairs or sporting events. A DVD player and DVD collection are also available and there is broadband internet access throughout. There is an entry hall with lots of hanging space and a shelving unit with individual storage boxes for each guests gloves, hats and goggles. There is also an upstairs loo.The kitchen is brand new and fully fitted with all modern conveniences: 4 ceramic hobs, convection oven, microwave, marble work surfaces, sink, dishwasher, tall fridge freezer and breakfast bar.The views are superb, and as good as anywhere in the village, uninterrupted across the valley to the Petit Combin and Grand Combin. There is a large balcony accessed from either the sitting room or garden with enough room to seat a dinner party in the summer. There is a large garden with terrace accessible from the balcony or bedrooms.Pets are permitted, as long as this is mentioned at the time of booking and owners take full responsibility for them and accept liability for any damage they may cause.If you self-drive there is parking for two cars in the underground car park, with lift access straight into the chalet.Please note changeover day is Sunday.

The location is so peaceful, not right in the centre of town (2-3 minutes by car, 5 minutes by free shuttle bus, or 15 minute walk). The south facing views are spectacular. The resort is fantastic, great skiing, great restaurants, great nightlife. The property is cosy, warm, everything works being recently built and Swiss.
The views are just stunning. Arriving and standing on the balcony listening to the peace and quite and taking in the views and fresh mountain air relaxes me instantly.

We enjoyed our evenings around the log fire in this cosy, luxurious, apartment. It felt like a home from home. Stunning views, great location. The welcome food basket was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. We felt very well looked after.

This apartment has it all : quiet and peaceful, so luxurious, a really stunning view for breakfast on the terrace, impeccable service including welcome basket and weekly cleaning. The perfect home base for a summer hiking and cycling holiday.
This is a very impressive apartment, everything you could need including a welcome basket/starter kit (wine, bread, milk, cereal etc.) plus a stunning view. It is a little way out of Verbier central but is serviced by a regular free bus. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen are well appointed. We were even met at the gondola and taken by car with our luggage to the apartment. They were even able to provide an extra bed for an unexpected guest. Our stay in Verbier in Pierre de Lune 011 was exceptional.

Verbier is the main resort in Switzerland’s largest ski area, the 4 Valleys.
