Spacious loft with 2 mezzanine rooms near Hyde Park & musuems in S Kensington

This is a newly-renovated spacious flat in a beautiful well maintained Victorian period building, situated in a safe and secure location. It takes only 3 minutes walking distance from Gloucester Road Station (Zone 1) and 10 minutes walk to South Kensington Station. Direct tube/underground link from Heathrow airport which takes only 38 minutes. Centrally located yet situated in a quiet residential street.

The apartment is at the front of the building on the ground floor, very easily accessible, easy to load your luggage. The majestic entrance welcomes you to the building with beautiful ornate wooden walls and doors.

The open plan loft style apartment has two cosy mezzanine rooms which can be accessed through two unique staircases separately. The ceilings height on the mezzanine level is 58"/147cm. There are no doors on both rooms, but completely separated by brick walls. There are also built in wardrobes in the mezzanine rooms.

Each mezzanine room has a standard UK Queen size/ Double bed with firm mattresses (137 x 190 cm). There is also a double sofa bed in the living room, sleeping an additional 2 persons. Extra duvet, pillows and bed linen and towels will be provided to host groups of 4 to 6.

The apartment boasts 65 square meters, an amazing spacious apartment, with high ceilings in the living room, the measurements are: 36 M (H) x 4 M 80 cm (W) x 8 M (L). Three large sash windows give plenty of lights. The dining area is adjacent to the living room, perfect for a convivial dinner.

The modern kitchen features all major appliances and fittings for cooking and eating. Microwave, oven, hobs, fridge & freezer, kettle, full set of cutlery, pots, pans, bowls, cups and plates provided.

Washing machine and dryer are also provided.

The bathroom has a bath and shower, W/C, mirror and sink area. The electric shower and standard UK bath tub provides consistent powerful shower.

Winter time: There are 3 radiators in the apartment.

Summer time: there is a fan and 3 large sash windows which can be opened.

Your stomach will never starve whilst staying in the area, the flat is only 3 minutes walk to supermarkets for groceries shopping. And the area has abundant restaurants ranging from classy European/Mediterannean/Indian restaurants, brasseries, cafes to the simple fast foods. There are three supermarkets nearby, Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury’s.

All amenities are provided for the perfect stay including:

The official check in time is 4pm.

There are guests checking out on the same day at 11am. We need time to clean and make the flat ready for you. If the guests check out early before 11am, then, you will be able to check in early, we will keep you posted nearer to check in date.

Please note that there is an extra charge for early check in.

£60 for early check in 10am - 11.30am,

£30 between 11.30- 4pm.

The apartment is not available for check in before 10am, unless you are prepared to pay for the night before your arrival.(If the apartment is available).

Please understand that we ought to hire extra cleaners to make the flat ready for you at early check in, linens and towels do take time to dry.

I fell in love with the property when I first saw it, I was impressed by the uique original ornate wood panels on the doors and walls.

The location is unbeatable, with amazing transport link! Right in the middle of affluent area of London, close to all the top London attarctions.

My family came to stay here during their holiday in London. It is cosy, comfortable and convenient.

Cute and Cozy Picture Perfect 2 Bedroom Loft Style Rental

Hey Everybody.

Please note that Lina has done an honest job at describing the place and was VERY straightforward in her description of the unit, its location, and its character. We traveled with 3 adults, 3 children (7,10,11) and an 11 month old baby.

The unit looks EXACTLY like its pictures. The rooms upstairs are very cute with low ceilings as described. Three of the children and one adult slept upstairs. The stairs are very narrow, super cute, but be careful on going up and down the stairs. Not recommended for the elders. There was a sofa bed on the floor where the two adults and the baby slept very comfortable but if you prefer bring your own air mattress. If you get cold a lot, I would say bring an extra blanket if you sleep on the floor because it's always chillier on the floor.

All appliances, tv, cable and internet worked perfect. All the heaters (3) worked as well just make sure to give them some time to kick in. All electrical outlets worked but be careful and bring the right the adaptors. If you like thick towels or use a lot bring your own as there is only one regular towel per person. Washer and dryer is outside.

NICE location. 2 very short blocks from the Gloucester Tube Station. Grocery store and food all around. The service and food and MK Bar & Grill was wonderful. There is a Starbucks right next door. Tell the manager the folks that went to Ireland raved about them.

We had some trouble figuring out the hot water but Lina was very responsive in my e-mails and calls with questions. One night the hot water went in and out, but the next night it was fine. Lina also let us check our bags early so we would be able to hang out baggage free while we waited for our check-in.

Lina is a very fashionable and pretty Londoner. I would stay here again.

Lovely London and lovely home

The home sharing was best choice for my London biztrip. It will be best choice for the person who is sick and tired of small and stuffy hotel room. The unit was tidy and huge for 2 person. WiFi speed is enough good. The metro station is just walking distance. It makes my tour perfect. There is no swimming pool or gym but it is near the Park. The Kitchen make saving money as well. At the last.. Thank you for welcome drink:)

Great location

The location of the apt is fantastic. 3 min walk to Gloucester Road tube station. It's in walking distance to Natural History Museum, Kensington Gardens, Royal Albert Hall. There are many restaurants in this area and a big supermarket at the tube stations. It's on quiet street. No traffic noice.

Apartment itself works well for a short stay. It has everything you need for your visit. It's clean, enough of space for family of four. Free wifi and lots of TV channels to choose from if one wishes to watch something.

The owner Lina is friendly and helpful. This was our 2nd time in this apt and wouldn't hesitate to choose again if we travel to London.

Wonderful host wonderful stay

This is the second time we stayed here because we love this place! It looks exactly like the descriptions! We love the large living space, very clean, good hot shower and fast wifI. 

We can't say enough how grateful we are to the wonderful host! She responded all our messages immediately, waited patiently for us. She is very friendly, she has sent some really useful information about travels, details of the flat, recommended restaurants etc, the best host we ever had! The location is just perfect! We got everything we needed! Extremely convenient!

Marvellous

We absolutely love this place! It is such a germ! Competitive rates in a perfect location for our perfect holiday. This apartment is exactly how it described, very clean and tidy, everything was in excellent working condintiona. The host is amazingly accommodating! She is very responsive, kind and sincere. She even waited for us till 1am due to our flight delays. We were even provided free coffee, tea, and dry foods, wow! She also recommended some great places for dining. I definitely will stay here again! Hard to find anything better than this! Thank you very much! You made our stay in London exceptionally marvellous!

Such a disappointment

This place is hardly worth 1/2 the price. Cold, drafty, skeezy linens, and bedding. The lofts are less that 5feet tall, apartment is actually a small studio with very little by way of comfortable accommodation. The hostess was short and kurt, unwilling to assist when the place was obviously substandard. So many better places for rent, shouldn't be allowed to stay on VRBO without accurate description and a price to match the low quality and dimmiutive space.

The ceilings height of the mezzanine level is exactly how it described 58”/147 cm, please see the third paragraph of the live listing of this property, nothing was hidden. Please understand that this is London, for London standard, this property is spacious, for American standard, it is probably small, everything in this world exists objectively. The descriptions of the property is completely transparent, you get exactly what you see, there are many reviews from previous guests who happily agreed that the property is exactly how it described, anyone can contact previous travellers for validations. The guests before you and after you were extremely happy with everything and I received thank you cards from them as evidence. It is a shame that you pulled out an old bedding from the cupboard which was not prepared for you and complained that it was stained. I have tried my best to accommodate all your demands as soon as you walked into the apartment i.e. early check in, sofabed, second set of keys, recommended restaurants etc. But nothing was enough for you and you kept complaining by sending 5 messages to me throughout the day and night. I am sorry that you didn’t read all the available information online properly and conveniently put the blame on someone else. You relentlessly demanded services from a luxury accommodation, I suggest you to stay at a hotel in the future, this will satisfy your needs.
