Chalet Abreuvoir is the smallest of the Chalets du Hameau (www.chaletsduhameau.com).
Fully rebuilt in 2013, it offers exceptional comfort in an ideal setting.
Suitable for 10/12 people - as well as very comfortable bedrooms, Aubreuvoir possesses a spa area with Jacuzzi, sauna and shower; a huge home cinema with flat screen television and a big living/dining/kitchen area with fitted kitchen and fireplace opening onto a sunny south facing terrace. To the North, you can see the roofs of the hamlet in the foreground and the entire valley of Méribel and in the distance Beaufortin Massif. To the South, you can see the summits of the ski area with La Saulire and Mont Vallon. The 5 bedrooms are all ensuite with bath or shower and separate toilet. They are fitted with flat screen televisions and new hotel quality beds (choose between 180cm double bed or 2x90cm single beds).
Chalet Abreuvoir has a delightful, comfortable atmosphere - making you welcome immediately! Its location at the foot of the slopes in winter and at the edge of Le Raffort hamlet make it an ideal spot for a holiday with friends or in family both in summer and winter. Come and join us!
Marie-Laure and Eric worked in the tourism sector for more than 35 years and have built or renovated many houses and they decided in 2010 to create the Chalets du Hameau in Le Raffort, Méribel. They believed that Le Raffort was ideally situated to welcome guests - and so it has proved to be! An enchanting setting, in the centre of the largest ski area in the world (Les Trois Vallées), the Chalets du Hameau are just wonderful.
Marie-Laure is a certified ski monitor (as was Eric) and she continues to teach in her own ski school Eskilibre.
After visiting most of the French and European ski resorts, Marie-Laure and Eric chose to settle here in this wonderful resort that is very varied and that is without doubt, for us, the most beautiful and best equipped.
A mountain lover, both in summer and winter, Marie-Laure knows the resort perfectly - she has explored every aspect either by ski or on foot. In addition to the ski resort and the mountains, Méribel is an authentic village with character, endearing inhabitants, its life (that has sometimes been hard) and its natural beauty. Far away from the resorts that are busy like a beehive - just come and join us to relax!
For all the guests of Chalets du Hameau, spending a week here is a true source of happiness, well-being, friendship and passion. We are happy to have, among everyone who has stayed at our chalets, new loyal friends who come back every season.
Whether it is with family or friends, holidays at Chalets du Hameau leave lasting memories.
We look forward to sharing exceptional moments with you,
Marie-Laure Duplessis Kergomard
Marie-Laure Duplessis-Kergomard purchased this chalet in 2013
Chalets du Hameau: a story of passion...
In 2010, we purchased 2 chalets to renovated, Chalet Tyrosolios and Chalet Ruisseau. We undertook these renovations during the summer 2011 with natural materials, comfort and tradition in mind. Bolstered up by this experience, in 2012 we renovated an old building in the same spirit, which became Chalet Abreuvoir. Then, in 2013, following this success, we built Chalet Ecume des Neiges, the last one of our 4 chalets.
It is no coincidence that we chose the Le Raffort hamlet. As an old village, with a history going back several centuries, it is a perfect getaway for a successful holiday. It's a village of character with a nearby wood and the traditional chalets nestled around the chapel give Le Raffort its special character. There are not many other places in the Alps where you can find this perfect authenticity that harmoniously blends with the modernity of a ski resort with a worldwide reputation. During the finals of the skiing world championship organised for the first time in France, here in Méribel, the Chalets du Hameau accommodated the Swedish men’s national team. According to these sportsmen who have travelled in all the great ski resorts of the world, it was the first time in their career that they were so well welcomed, housed and fed. We even had the honour of seeing them praise the Chalets du Hameau on their blog.
So, whether it is summer or winter, you can also come enjoy the authentic charm of a small hamlet in the heart of the greatest ski area of the world.
Chalet Abreuvoir is one of the most beautiful chalets in the Alps. Fully rebuilt in 2012, it harmoniously blends the modernity of its fittings with the tradition of its decoration. The chalet atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable and it's just a perfect place for successful holidays, both in summer and winter.
The spa with Jacuzzi, sauna and shower is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate and after a great day skiing, hiking, golfing, mountain biking... or any other leisure sport activities offered by the Méribel resort in winter and summer!
Méribel is in the heart of Les Trois Vallées, the largest ski area in the world
Open in both in summer and winter, as well as outdoor activities, you can enjoy a gamut of restaurants - several restaurants with 1, 2 or 3 Michelin stars - but also many authentic restaurants on the slopes or in the surrounding villages. Located at the gates of La Vanoise National Park, Méribel has a nature reserve with rich wildlife and varied mountain flowers: the Tueda Reserve.
Of course, it is the range and quality of skiing that made the name of Méribel famous; but it deserves to be known in summer too with the unspoilt countryside, sensational walks and views and a wide variety of leisure activities.
