This unique property located on worlds renown Place Dauphine is located in one of the most beautiful buildings, dating from 1607. The two floors duplex apartment is located on the noble floors of the building and can be reached by a private elevator. The apartment is completely renovated (full AC) although we restored all the historical features of the apartment. Sandstone walls, orinigal fire place, beams, etc.. Best craftmanship of France was used and we completed the decoration by Baccarat lamps, La Cornue "chef" stove and Houles for the curtains. Antiques are putting the finishing touch. The apartment is very quiet since there is no through traffic on Place Dauphine and you are nevertheless in the center of the city on Ile de la Cité. You can see Notre Dame from the windows and the walk to the Louvre takes 5 minutes. You are in equal distance from Le Marais and Saint Germain des Près and that walk takes 10 minutes. There are three metro stations right next to the building as well as a train to Versailles. Many good restaurants at Place Dauphine and at walking distance.
The layout of the apartment is: floor 3, entrance with toilet, closet and hidden laundry room with washer and dryer. Large living room and dining room. On this floor is also a complete kitchen with an authentic La Cornue stove, dishwasher and large refrigerator, Nespresson coffee machine, chilled wine cellar and all other applicances you need to make a chefs' meal are available. On floor 4 which you reach by an internal easy to walk up staircase you reach two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, large closet and drawers, safe and a seperate toilet. The adjacent bathroom with a Carrare marble sink has a bath and facing the bath is an open space italian shower. The second bedroom has two seperate beds which can be turned over to a king size bed, large closet and its own bathroom very well appointed with an amazing shower of which the protection shields fold up against the walls, leaving you a mirror and plenty of space to dress up and make yourself pretty. There is a toilet in this bathroom, so complete privacy for all the occupants. This second bedroom can also be reached by the front door of the 4th floor, so ideal for two couples or families. Both bedrooms as well as the living room have the main windows on the magical Place Dauphine. For larger parties, we added a sofa couch in the living room for 2 persons. But above all these material details, the important thing is that this rental is licensed and 100% legal. The ID is : 48.856434,2.342683 (www.opendata.paris.fr: Registre des Autorisations de Changement d'Usage pour Meublés). No fear for nasty e-mails telling you that the rental you selected was closed by the City of Paris.
Dutch native but living in France since almost 30 years, I love the Place Dauphine. Hospitality is in our genes in Holland, and when my children left home I decided to occupy myself and naturally the idea of sharing this magnificient city came up. I started with one single rental in Saint German des Pres and I like doing this so much that I needed to find other properties to satisfy all the demands. I have many regular guests, so hosting everybody meant more space.

As a fan of Place Dauphine, I purchased an apartment in 2010 for myself, I greatly appreciated the location, surroundings and atmosphere of this building. When this duplex came available I did not hesitate one second and after several months of hard work, we restored the apartment and added modern comfort to make it even more exceptional.
Beside all this surrounding beauty, I also guarantee you a property without any functional problems and most important, my properties are all "compensated" which means that I purchased the rights to operate so I have all the authorizations required by the city of Paris, which is not the case with most of the rental properties offered in Paris. Many were closed or are going to be.
The property has all the amenities one could want. Perfect for a twosome who want separate rooms or two couples. The kitchen is well equipped for home cooking. The bathrooms are modern. The living and dining area are comfortable and luxurious. There are several restaurants available in the square for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just drinks. It is centrally located for any touring one might want.
This was our second stay at Place Daulphine in the two bedroom apartment. I highly recommend it. Our first stay was in April 2016 and we loved the apartment so much, that when we had the chance to go back to Paris in October same year, there was no question as to where to stay. The apartment is in a great location. It is very tastefully decorated well equipped. Mia is such a joy to work with and willing to help with any questions you may have regarding Paris. Before we left in October, Mia showed us the 1 bedroom apartment on the floor above. For two persons that one would be lovely as well. We will definitely make Place Daulphine our home away from home anytime we are in Paris.

We just returned from a short stay in Paris and can't say enough about this lovely apartment. It is so cozy and beautifully decorated and equipped. The central location is great, and we enjoyed several meals at the restaurants located in the Place Dauphine. We look forward to our next stay here, and thank Mia for hosting us!
We had an amazing stay. Mia was a wonderful host. The property had everything needed. The accommodations were fabulous. We couldn't ask for a better location.
This is the second year we stayed on Place Dauphine in Mia's apartments. Last year the studio, this year the two bedroom apartment. This apartment is very tastefully decorated and all amenities were there and first rate. The chestnut trees outside our windows were blooming. The apartment is within walking of the Louvre and the D'Orsay museums. Good restaurants are available just in our tranquil neighborhood of Place Dauphine. The Carrefour supermarket and a number of boulangeries are all nearby.
We hope to be back in Paris soon and definitely staying here.
What a wonderful apartment in a very tranquil location in the centre of Paris.
The property is in excellent condition and was very clean tastefully furnished and well equipped located in a beautiful setting.
We couldn't believe how tranquil and quiet Place Dauphine was right in the centre of Paris. We were 4 people in and around our 70's and we were able to walk to many of the attractions from the apartment and then return and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the 'Place'. Notre Dame is very close as is the Louvre, Latin and Jewish Quarters and a number of metro stations, we even managed to walk back from the Eiffel Tower via the Champs Elysee. Travel from the airport was easy using RER with the station St Michel Notre Dame within 6/7 minutes walk and at a cost of only 10 euros.
There are a number of restaurants close by but beware of La Rose de France where the food is good but when the bill comes it is not accurate and their English deteriorates!!
We would certainly recommend this apartment and the location and would thank Mia for creating such a lovely environment.
On Ile de la Cité in the hart of Paris at 5 minutes from Louvre Museum, Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle. At 10 minutes walking distance to Saint Germain des Près and the Latin Quarter and a 15 minutes walk to the hart of Le Marais. Right next to the station that takes you to Versailles in 20 minutes. You are right in the middle of all, but without the inconveniences of the city since on this very tranquille historical square, there is no traffic, so you can enjoy the best of the city without the hassle. One of the most priviliged spots of Paris. Many restaurants close by and the grocery and bakery stores are at 7 minutes stroll.

We request for a deposit of 30% of the total rent. The balance is due 15 days prior to your arrival if forwarded by bank transfer or Paypal (please add 2% reception fees). Foreign guests can also pay with travellers' cheques or cash in order to avoid bank fees. Cancellation policy 60 days for a total refund if cancellation is due to serious reasons? Within this period we refund if we are able to rent to another guest under the same conditions. Tourist tax is collected on behalf of the City of Paris and is due in cash. We remind you that we are a legal rental and that our rates include VAT.
