An absolutely stunning house - so big !!

It was absolutely spotless and certainly had the wow factor.

The whole house was a pleasure to stay in - the bedrooms were perfect - the kitchen was equipped with all that we needed - and the sofas were so comfortable - only thing we didn’t like was leaving !!!

The bonus of the hot tub was great and it was very clean

It was just a perfect place to stay and will definitely be going back

The location was perfect for a walk down to the beach - unfortunately we never had the weather to enjoy the decking but even that was stunning

Had a wonderful weekend - couldn’t have asked for a better house to stay in x

Fantastic spacious house for a family reunion

  • 5 of 5

We booked Bryn Berwyn for a cousins reunion. In the end we were eleven people staying for two nights and wish we'd been able to stay for longer. The house itself is well decorated, clean and bright. We were blessed with good weather and took advantage of the wonderful decks and even ventured into the hot tub despite it being the early May.

Michelle was helpful and communicative, allowing us early access to put our groceries in the fridge to keep them cold. The kitchen was well equipped, had plenty of wine and pint beer glasses but we could have done with some intermediate water size glasses.

We especially liked having the long dining table. When you're having a family event one of the most important parts is being able to sit down together and spend a long leisurely lunch together catching up and reminiscing. The dining room room was perfect for that. Overall an excellent place to stay and we'll hopefully be back for another stay.

Far exceeded our expectations

  • 5 of 5

The property was easy to locate and was in fact larger than we had expected as brochure photographs using wide angled lenses can often be deceptive. A very spacious property with three distinct lounges and a most generously sized dining room. All twenty of us were able to eat together at one table, and by moving chairs and using cushions for younger children we were able to have the whole family in one room for evening games and 'chat'. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with plenty of dining ware, glasses, cutlery, a host of kitchen appliances and cooking equipment. We never 'ran out' of anything.

It felt like a home and was thoughtfully equipped with books, games, colouring pencils etc. It was in perfect condition on arrival and there was extra bedding in each bedroom. We were able to sleep 4 couples and 12 children aged from 8 to 18 and everyone had a comfortable bed and great bath/shower facilities.

The owner provided excellent customer service - all involved were very helpful. Would recommend unreservedly.

As the weather was very kind to us for an October half term, we spent a lot of time on the beach, body boarding, playing games, fishing (catching numerous mackerel) off the rocks, watching dolphin and a seal, toasting marshmallows on our beach fire, having picnics . . . We did two coastal path walks which gave us spectacular views and would recommend a boat trip with 'Seamor' at New Quay led by marine biologists who were a fund of information, showing us a baby shark, lobster and large crab from their pots and widening our education enormously. We also found a very friendly church in Cardigan.

The hot tub was a huge attraction and after getting a bit chilled from staying in the sea too long the prospect of the hot tub brightened up even the coldest.

All were sad to leave having had a very special family gathering part of which was a celebration of a Golden Wedding.
