Superb renovated house in the countryside located in the heights of the hills

Welcome to this original space of 165 m² with tropical colors.

We are located in the middle of the natural park of the hills, Wallonia Picardy, 70 km from Brussels, 30 km from Lille and 50 km from the Belgian coast.

Two living rooms with two sofa beds, two double bedrooms, two kitchens, two terraces, a shower room, three toilets, a bathroom and a game room with a pool table and a garden are available.

You have access to the entire building full. The bikes are free at your disposal.

An access code will be communicated upon arrival.

We welcome you to the cottage. For your information, we live in the house just behind. We are easily reachable in case of need. To make your stay as pleasant as possible and avoid misunderstandings here are some rules and recommendations to follow, in addition to those set out in the lease.

Several pedestrian walks in the woods start directly in front of the lodging.

Marked trails for bicycle rides are installed nodes with points just from front of the cottage.

Your arrival time is to be specified later than 2 days before arrival.

Unless otherwise agreed, the arrival is possible from 16h and departure planned before noon. In case of mishaps, thank you to inform us.

The deposit of 250 euros is payable on arrival in cash (not accepted bank checks). It will be returned either at check-out or within ten days of departure by bank transfer.

Organizing your home and your stay

•Arrival

The four keys and a remote control are delivered on arrival and must be returned upon departure (5 euros per missing keys and 25 euros per missing remotes will be deducted from the deposit).

WIFI connection code is sent to you on request on arrival.

•Stay

Observe the infrastructures and furniture. We ask you to close the roof windows when it rains and when you are absent. The sheets on beds and linens (towels) of bath are to be made. However, if you do not have the opportunity to bring them, please let us know, we are able to lend you. The beds have duvets and pillows and each mattress is equipped with a waterproof protective cover. For hygienic reasons, we ask you to place a sheet over the mattress, duvet cover and pillowcases (you place above the sub-pillowcases herein).

If you choose not to do the cleaning yourself 60 euros are payable on arrival.

The measurements are 140 cm x 190 cm for the cloth of sofa bed mattress down and 180 cm by 220 cm for the duvet cover. The measurements are 140 cm x 180 cm for the mattress sheet of chaise lounge bed upstairs and 180 cm by 220 cm for the duvet cover. The measurements are 180 cm x 200 cm for mattress and sheets of 220 cm to 240 cm on his quilt of bed in the right room upstairs. The measurements are 160 cm x 200 cm for mattress and sheets of 220 cm to 240 cm on his quilt from the bed of the left upstairs bedroom.

For hygiene and cleanliness reasons, pets are not allowed in the house.

Out of respect for the occupants of the house, the building is non-smoking inside.

We ask you to always see to give free passage for cars to circulate at all hours in the driveway in front of the house. Motorcycle parking is in front of the entrance to the cottage inside the property. Parking your car in front of the house along the street. When events permit, sometimes exceptionally on request and agreement with the owner, car parking can be found inside the enclosure the property. We disclaim all responsibility for any damage caused to vehicles parked in the parking lot.

The TV and internet connection and consumption are included in the rental when staying a week or less. Electricity consumption, pellets (heating and hot water) and water are not included for rentals longer than a week. The meters are read at the beginning and end of stay. The cottage is equipped with electric meter night and weekend special rate. The thermostat and thermostatic radiator valves allow you to adjust the indoor temperature. Even when including charges of respect for our environment sure to avoid unnecessary consumption, especially when you are absent.

We encourage you to sort your household waste. Paper and cardboard, glass containers and PMC (plastic, metal containers and 'tétrabiques') sorted can be stored in the bin area in front of the lodging. The blue PMC bags and black bags for unsorted waste are provided. There are four bins 240 liters each. The blue corresponds to the PMC, yellow to all comers, gray for paper and green for glass. In case of longer term rentals bags and waste disposal are in charge of the tenant. A removal schedule is displayed.

The outdoor space available within the property of the cottage you will be presented on arrival. For safety, it is forbidden to drive in the private part outside this area without our agreement and our presence. Children can move only accompanied by several adult from the pond and farm machines on the street. In an accident, the cottage "L'Archipel" can not be held responsible.

If problems occur during your stay, you can reach us

•Departure

If cleaned by the tenant, the cottage must be left in a clean condition equivalent to that of arrival. If payment for cleaning, a state correct 'is, however, required. In both cases, dishes and furniture must be returned to their original places.

On the agreed departure time, an inventory is made. We ask you to inform us any breakage, spoilage or any failure. We do not charge breakage of any glass, but would like to make the necessary replacements or repairs. The deposit will be returned to the tenant no later than 3 days after the end of the stay. Potential significant damage, incorrect or key loss cleaning (found during the inventory or posteriorly initially) will be deducted.

Non-included charges (stay exceeding one week) must be paid the day of departure.

The general conditions set out above are an integral part of the lease of the house and can not be changed.

Excellent property in very quiet location with very friendly owners

Beautifully presented large cottage on a quiet country road. Great for a couple but can take a large family or friends. It is centrally located in Belgium with easy drives to numerous sites of interest. The sat-Nav was essential but made it easy to find and navigate the small roads. The owners, Nicolas and Carine, were wonderful hosts, providing lots of local knowledge and lovely treats to make the stay memorable. If you want a luxurious, quiet and restful break, this is the place! Keith and Glenda from Australia.

An inviting and clean home with many thoughtful amenities and excellent hosts!

Our family stayed in this beautiful and modern home after many days of traveling in the cities. We found the country setting and gracious hosts to be exactly what we needed to end our European travels. Nicolas and Carine are very warm and welcoming which shows in the the thoughtfulness of detail taken in arranging their guest home. We especially were thankful for the extra space to relax, games, tourist information, and personal insight. The town of Ellezelles was also wonderful with very friendly people and excellent beer and sausages! Our only complaint is that we did not have more time!

Excellent séjour

Le gite est très agréable, idéalement rénové et très bien équipé. Les propriétaires sont très discrets mais présents à l'arrivée avec une multitude de visites à proposer. Un moment de quiétude dans la campagne wallonne, entouré de champ, de vaches et de chevaux.

Gîte L'Archipel está en un sitio perfecto para poder visitar lo más bonito de Bélgica, entorno idílico, la casa es preciosa, nueva y con todo lujo de detalles. Y Nicolas y Carina estupendos, atentos de que todo estuviera perfecto. Todo esto y la compañia de los mejores amigos han hecho posible las vacaciones perfectas y nos ha dejado ganas de volver.

Très bien

Nous venons d'y passer un weekend; Maison agréable au calme très bien située: à 1 heure Bruges, Bruxelles, Anvers...et à 50 km de Lille, la maison est neuve et sur deux niveaux ce qui permet de recevoir jusqu'à 8 personnes, question propreté impeccable, bien équipée.

Les deux chambres sont confortables avec une décoration très épurée...

Le propriétaire Nicolas est très accueillant .

très bon rapport qualité prix.

Rien à dire, continuez comme ça.
