Weekend away with the dogs
We have had a wonderful weekend, the cottage was fantastic.
Lovely walks with the dogs.
Thankyou for having us.
Ideal for a stay in the North Cotswolds
A warm welcome from our host with homemade bread and cookies waiting along with fresh eggs from the farm and a jug of milk in the fridge.
Clean and cosy yet spacious,
very comfortable accommodation. Great facilities.
Beautiful Property and location.
We stayed at Robbie’s Barn for a Christmas break and it could not have gone better.
The accommodation was perfect. Clean, cosy and very comfortable. It was so well equipped that it was a home from home.
The dogs were made to feel welcome and Debbie was always on hand to answer our questions.
When we visit the Cotswolds again this will be out first choice of somewhere to stay.
The cottage was clean, cosy and well kitted. The owners left a beautiful homemade hamper and fresh flowers and this made the stay so special. Thank you for having us
Robbie’s Barn is situated in the small village of Fulready, just off the Fosse Way less than 10 miles from Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon and within easy reach of The Cotswolds and Warwick. The historic market town of Shipston-on-Stour is a short drive away with many excellent pubs and restaurants and an abundance of individual shops selling local produce.
The village of Fulready is surrounded by a network of footpaths and bridle ways to explore, with at least two pubs within a two mile walk.
The village consists of a cluster of beautiful stone and brick properties among them Paddock Farm famous for it's Tamworth sausages and bacon available to but at the local garage shop in Halford and from their own butcher's shop in nearby Brailes village. We have our own free range eggs, some of which will await you on arrival!
Fulready is only 8 miles from Shakespeare's Stratford and all it offers, including three theatres, The Shakespeare Properties and trips on the River Avon. Also to be found in Stratford-Upon-Avon are over 35 excellent Bars, Bistros, and Restaurants.
Shipston-on-Stour"The historic market town of Shipston-on-Stour is a short drive away with many excellent pubs and restaurants and an abundance of individual shops selling local produce."
"The RSC is probably the most famous classical theatre company in the world."
From Fulready you can enjoy driving through the idyllic Cotswold towns and villages of Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Broadway, Upper & Lower Slaughter and Snowshill to name but a few.
The Cotswolds is one of the most 'quintessentially English' and unspoiled regions of England, a designated "area of outstanding natural beauty", and is packed with historic interest with Stately Homes, beautifully preserved market towns and excellent footpaths and attractions for days out.
About Debbie Clarke
Hi! My name is Debbie and I grew up in the beautiful Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, just 10 miles away. I still work at the secondary school there 4 days a week. My husband is also a local lad and had (now retired) a long-established retail business in the local market town of Shipston-on-Stour. We also love dogs, having four of our own, and have made Robbies Barn dog friendly, so feel free to bring your well behaved furry friends along too!
Why Debbie Clarke chose Ettington
I've lived in the area since I was a small child and love it. My husband and I moved to our current address in 2009 and converted a redundant farm building across the yard from our house into our ideal holiday cottage, the sort of place we'd be happy to stay in. We'd like to share our new home with others and invite you to come and enjoy the holiday cottage we've created.
What makes this Cottage unique
Robbies Barn offers peace and tranquillity in a quiet rural setting.
