In the neighbourhood of Las Letras, so named because of its proximity to the museums in the city, one of the loveliest neighbourhoods in Madrid. Its peaceful, car-free streets, its international feel with lots of foreigners living here, its enticing bars, shops and restaurants all make this the perfect area!
Located in a quiet street in a small building without a lift. We love it!
This two-level attic flatwith a terraceis really unbelievable. It can sleep 10 and has four private bedrooms on the top level: two doubles and two twins.
There are three full bathrooms with shower. The ground floor boasts two large spaces: a spacious living room and a kitchen–dining room.
The apartment has been fully renovated with comfort first and foremost to create spacious, bright, pleasant rooms.
The decor has been carefully designed down to the last detail and incorporates the latest in design: retro-inspired furniture, a range of colours and original old pieces, as well as brightly coloured works of modern art on the walls.
The true gem of this apartment is the huge terrace, with furniture in the shade and in the sun. Its orientation means it gets the sun almost all day and into the evening.
The apartment has air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet.

4br/3 bathroom apartment in quiet area in easy walking distance of Prado and Puerta del Sol. Apartment was comfortable with a large living room, kitchen and 3 bathrooms on the lower level and 4 fairly small bedrooms on the upper level. Nice terrace next to the living area. On the top floor of the building and up 60+ steps. 3 aircon on the lower level but aircon in 3 of the bedrooms only.
Not so happy though with friendly rentals. I arrived at 9am on Saturday morning and had previously advised them of my arrival time and was told to call the contact number on arrival at the airport. Both numbers i called had a message that the office was closed and to leave a message. I waited over two hours for a response and finally called their emergency number to be told that the office was open and to go there. After 30 hours of travelling could have done without this mix up.
L'appartement est assez grand et très bien situé dans un quartier en devenir. Il est équipée d'une terrasse de bonne taille. L'esprit de l'appartement est assez sympa, avec une décor contemporaine et vintage. En revanche il n'est pas très bien équipé pour 8 personnes, un grand manque de matériel pour faire la cuisine et aussi un manque de vaisselle. Globalement cet appartement mériterait un bon coup de rafraichissement au niveau des sols, murs et plafonds, ainsi que la terrasse (sol et murs et mobiliers). L'accueil se fait à l'agence, il n'y a donc pas d'état des lieux entrant, ni sortant.
