Angela and Lance have been married almost 34 years and met in London. Angela is Bristol born and bred and Lance grew up in Oxford. Angela is a 'retired' Social Worker and Lance is in IT. We have 3 grown up children. Sophia and her baby boy live with us as her husband works abroad. We have 3 grandchildren and another on the way. We are kept very busy!
Angela purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Angela chose Canon's Marsh
Although we now live in the Gloucestershire countryside, we thoroughly enjoy breaks to the city and harbourside. Angela watched this small block of 10 apartments being built and was determined to buy this one. We have not regretted it.

Fabulous location, clean and tidy apartment. Lots of extras
Beautiful waterfront view and lovely apartment
I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The apartment is exactly as described. It is comfortable and I had everything I needed for my get away holiday. There was always some activity to watch on the waterfront. I hope I can return for another stay.
I visited the Muller orphanage museum in Bristol and saw the antique samplers there which were made by young girls.
Thank you Martha. So glad you had an excellent time in Bristol and at our apartment.
Amazing Bristol rental
This apartment is fantastic! To start with, we took the train to Bristol and from the train station hopped on the water ferry which dropped us off right in front of the apartment. We took the bus to Heathrow after our stay and walked, with our luggage, to the bus station...no problems. The apartment is very comfortable and well furnished. It has restaurants directly underneath and many other restaurants within a short distance. Easy walk to all the sights. Fun area. Would certainly stay there again!
Thank you Kathy. So glad you had fun!
The location was truly amazing!
The apartment is well laid out and well equipped. We were pleased with all the information provided and access was straight forward. Unfortunately it required a good vacuum upon our arrival. The bathroom and kitchen area were clean and tidy.
These minor issues were quickly overcome by the outstanding location of the apartment. Access to ferry transport and museums was spot on.
Sorry about the vacuuming Shelagh. We have a new cleaner who obviously needs more training. The place is usually spotless.
So glad you enjoyed your stay.
Loved location. Don’t want to say anything else
Very difficult guest. Could not do anything to please her. some ants came under the door which I offered to come and deal with but she said no she had dealt with it herself. Her impression of the apartment was completely out of sync with the fantastic reviews we have had in the last 3 years. She left the place in disarray and quite dirty. Not welcome to come again.
Superb waterside views
We enjoyed staying in the flat. There is a great view over the harbourside. The flat is clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped for the serious self-caterer - it even had weighing scales - unusual for this type of property. The location is ideal for exploring the City. There is a pleasant harbourside restaurant nearby. Despite the location, the flat was quiet at night.
We were supplied with the gate codes for the car park, but were not given the code for the courtyard gate, which meant we had to ring one of the other residents when we first arrived in order to get in the property.
Instructions on using/altering the heating system would have been helpful. The bed/settee was quite a struggle to open up first time; again, further instructions would have been helpful.
Thank you for your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed the apartment and views. I am sorry that you found some difficulty with the instructions and codes. We were most surprised by this.
I can confirm that the courtyard code was given to you, is described and listed as the first code in the list of codes on the documents you received. We have visitors every week virtually for the last two years and they have received the same documents as yourselves with no complaint.
There is also a whole paragraph on using and opening the bed settee and a paragraph on using the central heating system. Again we have had no complaints or difficulty from other guests in the last 2 years. Are you sure you read the documents and took them with you?!
Parking is charged at £7 per night of stay, if required, payable direct to the owner. Please arrange in advance of arrival.
