FOR 'BIKE' WEEK (28 May - 04 June 2016) - NO MOTORCYCLES ALLOWED: To adhere to our Home Owners Association rules our unit is not an option for 'bike' week in May since motorcycles are not allowed in our parking garage by renters.

AGE LIMIT: To maintain the quality of our unit we do not rent to students or groups under the age of 25 - sorry no exceptions.

UNIT DETAILS: This 3 BR/3BA peaceful corner unit is at the northern tip of Cherry Grove area across the street from the beach. Fully furnished with all your conveniences. Upgrades added: Brand new 42 inch flat screen TV and Blue Ray DVD Player in living room; King 'Sterns & Foster' bed in master bedroom; Queen beds in other two bedrooms. Easy access to all the action of the Grand Strand. Full size washer and dryer inside unit. Free internet and telephone. Sleeps 8 maximum.

CONVENIENCES of Unit - Ocean Pointe: Our cleaning crew is very particular so you can be assured that every detail has been covered in preparation for your arrival. Our unit is on the 3rd floor with easy elevator access. Our layout is approximately 1400 sq ft, with many windows, making it bright and airy. Each bedroom has a private full bath, and each is equipped with a hair dryer and extra mirrors. You will have the convenience of wake-up calls and voice messages. Whatever extras you need, we have thought about them in advance.

GRAND STRAND AREA ACTIVITIES: North Myrtle Beach is a wonderful family and golfing area filled with beautiful homes and a quieter pace away from the hustle and bustle. Within a short distance to the Grand Strand are hundreds of restaurants, theme parks, and entertainment venues. They include Planet Hollywood, NASCAR, Broadway at the Beach, Hard Rock Café, Night clubs, Tanger Outlet Mall and Barefoot Land for shopping, amusement parks, and Broadway-caliber shows to thrill you at night. And so much more!

What makes this condo unique

This unit is at the northern most tip of North Myrtle Beach with a beach that feels like it is private. We love to see the little children play in the wading pools.

I just wanted to let you know that everything went "very" well during our stay at your condo. It was perfect! Your beach home was just right for the needs of our family. My 80-yr-old mother-in-law enjoyed her stay in the room off of the living area w/access to the balcony. The kids right of way stated their claim on the middle bedroom with the 2-way access bathroom (just perfect since we were able to keep an eye on them wherever they played). ...and of course Mark & I were spoiled by our "retreat-like" location on the "far" end of the home (equipped with a lock on the door! -came in real handy!).

Needless to say that we enjoyed not only you're beautiful condo but also the "slow-paced" atmosphere of the neighborhood. You'll be hearing from us about another visit next year. In the meantime I'll share this info w/ friends who may be interested. I may also look into booking it as a "gift" for a close relative sometime w/in this yr.

Great place for our Spring Break with grandkids!!

The listing accurately describes this condo. The condo and the building are very well maintained. For us seniors, having the elevator was great. The condo is comfortably furnished. It has all of the items you would need for a stay in North Myrtle Beach or Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed the fact that it was in a very quiet neighborhood (keep in mind we were there in early April). The keyless entry (key pad with code) was just perfect because one daughter was there for only the first three days and our other daughter came after our first daughter left. (that’s the schedules you deal with when both are RNs). They were able to come and go as they pleased with their kids and my husband and I did the same. No problem with “who has the key.” I hope all rentals go with this idea. Duffy's, Old South BBQ and The Shack were really good places to eat. Each with their own charm. Also found Dino's Pancake House to be very good.

The owner was great to work with. She was very accommodating, provided excellent instructions and was only a text or phone call away. The only issue we had was when the dryer wouldn’t heat, but the owner had the repairman there the same day. I probably couldn’t do that at home.

Quiet and Restful

Located at the north end of N Ocean Blvd, this condo was steps away from the beach, and was a quiet haven for rest and relaxation. For the period I was in residence, there were only a few condos occupied which added to peaceful setting. The apartment was clean, well furnished, with three spacious bedrooms, climate control, laundry and kitchen. There was an IGA a short drive away where I did most of my grocery shopping and North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach have a plethora of great restaurants and eateries. Then of course, there was golf!

Both my wife and I enjoyed our stay in NMB and at this apartment and we'd go back again in a heartbeat!

It is close to the beach and far enough away from the hustle and bustle on Route 17 that you really can "get away and relax". Beautiful and Comfortable Condo

This beautiful condo was exactly as described. Clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the porch for cocktails and the lagoon in the back was quite interesting. The ocean was so inviting with 80 degree temps & sun everyday. Love the Golden Griddle for Breakfast. Great shopping at Hope Taylor's on Main Street. Blanche is a wonderful landlady. Thank you Blanche for a comfy condo.

Owner's Response: We are so glad that Rita and Byron enjoyed our condo and our customer service. They too were very easy to work with and we look forward to their next visit. Their reservation was a bit complicated due to hurricane Joaquin hitting the South Carolina area hard. Our unit and building overall did not sustain any damage but they were very concerned that all of their favorite restaurants and shops had been destroyed. Although our contract clearly states that vacation insurance is strongly recommended, especially for weather related situations such as this, we had no problem agreeing to reschedule their dates for two weeks later in October. We just thought it was the right thing to do. During their vacation the weather did cooperate and they enjoyed 80 degrees and sunshine. We look forward to a long standing relationship with these renters, and to their next visit in our unit. Thanks, Stephanie (Owner)

First problem was all the porch chairs were broken. We had to make arraignments in our vacation to meet guys twice to replace chairs

Second only one TV was big enough to see. The other three were about 13 inch tvs and we had kids. Not very family friendly.

The final straw was we were accused of smoking in the condo. We had 4 kids and 2 adults. No one smoked but somehow were accused by the cleaning people. Which had to charge more for additional cleaning supplies. We ended up getting our deposit back minus 60 dollars. Would not reccomend this place to anyone. Especially with the cost to rent.

Owner's Response: To all our potential renters, We have been managing and offering our unit for family vacations for nearly 9 yrs. If you want a realistic picture about our services and what our unit offers we encourage you to read through our nearly 50 reviews. We take pride in ensuring all aspects of our unit are addressed as quickly as possible, and so we rely heavily on our renters to let us know as soon as possible when something breaks or does not work properly. Our maintenance guy and cleaning crew can get to our unit within a few hours of being notified to rectify any situation. Regarding our zero tolerance non-smoking policy we make no apologies. We advertise our unit as non-smoking and our rental agreement clearly states that if there is smoke or the scent of smoke in our unit when the cleaning crew arrives that you may forfeit a portion or all of your $250 damage deposit. During the initial phone call I always ask if there are any smokers in your party. I clearly explain our zero tolerance policy and describe the following scenario: If someone in your party smokes while out at dinner the smoke gets in their clothes; then when they come back to our unit it gets in the furniture. So although they did not smoke while “in” our unit they did introduce the scent of smoke into our unit. This is why we avoid renting to parties that have at least one (1) smoker in the family – no exceptions. It is intended to be a deterrent so that our next incoming renters can be assured that if they have allergies or asthma our unit will be a comfortable place for them to relax and enjoy their vacation. As owners, we have to ensure that what we advertise is what we deliver. We welcome you to call us to discuss any details regarding our unit and/or our customer service to help you make an informed decision about renting our unit.
