This really bright, cozy, well equipped 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom apartment in South Kensington is superbly located in Sloane Avenue, South Kensington, just 6 minutes walk from South Kensington station and moments from brands like Chanel, Stella McCartney and The Conran Shop, to name a few.

Live like a local in this bright, compact but well-equipped Two Bedroom Two Bathroom Apartment on the third floor of a well known building on Sloane Avenue with lifts to all floors. Located in South Kensington and Chelsea - one of the most select residential areas of central London and very handy for getting around central London from South Kensington station, just 6 minutes' walk. It’s a short walk from some of London’s main museums – Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum – and in walking distance of Kensington Palace and Gardens, Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall. London’s main sights – Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, London’s theatres, the Tower of London and much more are easily accessed quickly and direct from either South Kensington or Sloane Square tube stations – both a short walk from your apartment, making this a great base for touring central London.

Your apartment has a bright, good size Master Bedroom with Double Bed, plenty of wardrobe space, desk and chair and en-suite Bathroom with bath tub and shower over. The Second Bedroom is more compact but also has a Double Bed along with drawer space and wardrobe. The second Bathroom has a shower cubicle and also contains the washer/dryer.

The bright Lounge and Dining Area are cozy and have a comfortable large Sofa, which is also a sofa bed, dining table with three chairs (there is a 4th chair in the Master Bedroom), Flat Screen TV, freeview channels and individual router for the Free WiFi. The Coffee Maker is also in the Lounge. The well-equipped kitchen which includes oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and more. A range of saucepans are provided along with all of the crockery, cutlery and glass you may need for your stay.

The beds are provided with luxurious Egyptian Cotton Sheets and the sofa bed can be provided, on request, with sheets and blanket, for a 5th guest. High quality towels are provided with a full set for each guest in your party. Housekeeping is provided on a weekly basis but can be provided more frequently for an additional charge.

The immediate area of your apartment has numerous small shops, restaurants and coffee shops. There is a Sainsbury’s Local supermarket 2 minutes’ walk away open from 7.00 a.m. up to midnight. There is a Starbucks just down Sloane Avenue. If you decide to go out to eat, you will find yourself spoilt for choice from the wide range of restaurants close by in South Kensington.

South Kensington is home to some great brands - Chanel and Stella McCartney are just down the road, The Conran Shop is moments away and Christie's is a short walk away in Brompton Road. South Kensington has something of a village atmosphere to it and offers a huge range of small shops and individual restaurants which make it quite unique.

My whole life has been built around travel, so it's a real pleasure to be able to share some of those opportunities with you. I have had a long career in hotels and serviced apartments in the UK but now I just enjoy what I have always loved: travel. Favourite destinations include Koh Samui, Thailand; Palawan, Philippines; Luang Prabang, Laos; Dambulla, Sri Lanka and many, many more. My favourite food choices pretty much reflect where I love to go. As I am not always in London, I have some friends from the industry who look after my guests and my properties for me. Wonderful apartment in the center of Sloane Square. We loved being near a grocery store, Starbucks, and a quick walk to the Underground. Also, close to many great places to eat, and shopping. Would book again! Leanne Dougherty

South Kensington is one of the more exclusive residential areas of central London and it's really not hard to see why. Some of the best stores in London are a short walk away in Knightsbridge and South Kensington is also a very central spot for getting around the rest of this great city.

If you enjoy museums, there are some of London's best in this area - just a short walk past South Kensington station and up Exhibition Way for the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum.

London is famous for it's parks and Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park (essentially one park) are in walking distance up Exhibition Road.

However, South Kensington was once just a village outside London and it still retains some of the atmosphere from those earlier days in side streets, garden squares and some lovely, very individual shops and restaurants. They can be a bit pricey but they are a unique experience.

South Kensington underground station is 6 minutes' walk from the apartment and has Circle, District and Piccadilly Lines - so you can take the train here direct to and from London Heathrow Airport. There are direct routes to most of London's main sights with many just a few minutes' away from the station.

Sloane Square station is 10 minutes' walk from the apartment and has Circle and District Lines - if you are walking towards King's Road and Chelsea initially, you will find this the easier station to use.
