We really enjoy Villa Giancarlo, it was as shown in the pictures.
Villa Giancarlo is beautiful inside as well as the terrace. We spend almost all our time on the terrace.
It’s a great location, if you prefer not to be in the middle of the touristy part of Positano. It's a quieter neighborhood with nice restaurants, a nearby grocery store, wine shops. We like it better on this side of town. We also like the Fornillo Beach on this side of town much better than the Spiaggia Grande beach (you need to be able to handle lots of stairs to get to the beach -- my wife's arthritis was making it difficult for her).
Beautiful views and very good villa layout - bedrooms are on opposite sides so there is some privacy when traveling with friends / relatives. Nice furnishings and art work. Kitchen is a little dated but we didn't spend much time in kitchen. Nice to have dishwasher and washing machine. We would stay here again -- very nice property and owner.
Giancarlo, the owner, is very nice.
It was very easy to work with staff, very responsive. Thank you Summer In Italy and Giancarlo.
We enjoyed Villa Giancarlo very much.
Summer In Italy was great to work with. They answered all of my questions promptly and made the entire rental process very smooth. Thank you!
We were very pleasantly surprised with Villa Giancarlo.
The views were excellent from all the balconies. We liked the way the two main bedrooms were separated. The villa was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated.
Giancarlo [the owner] greeted us as we arrived, showing us around the villa and offering places to see.
Summer In Italy was very helpful before the trip. I will definitely use them next time and have recommended them to friends. They made the experience very pleasant and easy.
We loved the villa and the location.
There were great restaurants above and below the villa. Also a very inexpensive laundry place that washed/dried and folded your clothes for a very cheap rate.
The owner, Rosetta, was very nice and advised us how to get around and where to go. She gave us total privacy and the villa was spotless. We even met some of her cousins around the coast who where very friendly and gave great advice and directions.
