The property is a beautiful chalet set amongst approximately 1300 sqm of gardens in the centre of Chamonix at the foot of the Aiguille du Midi cablecar.
With only about 250m to walk to get to the pedestrian centre of Chamonix, the property is one of few chalets with this amount of surrounding space, so close to the centre of town. In summer, the gardens provide ample room for sunbathing and BBQs, all with the view of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi in the background. Children can play safely in the confines of the garden. In winter, the main ski bus stop is two minutes walk away.

I grew up in the England and moved to Chamonix in 2005. I love England but you can't bet the views and the weather in Chamonix. I personally look after Chalet des Sapins and the guests who come to stay.
Odile Bevan purchased this apartment in 2005
The location is fantastic. It is in the centre of town, next to the Aiguille du Midi cablecar. No need for a car to get to the lifts, bars shops and restaurants. It is also very peaceful and quiet.
The property has a massive private garden with great views of the Mont Blanc.

Great apartment on first floor with 2 good sized bedrooms. Well equipped and good small touches such as cleaning products for kitchen & washing machine.
Walking distance to centre and round the corner from Aguille Du Midi. Across road from Mulet stop which was great when the boys got bit tired of walking.
Owner Odile was great providing great arrival details, recommendation for transfers & being on hand for any queries ( we too didn’t know how to use induction hob).
Would stay again & boys already planning next year’s trip!
Wonderful views of Mt Blanc
We love the terrace but the beds are not very comfortable and too small for us.
The kitchen needs larger pots and lits.
We recently stayed in Sapines 3, which is on the top floor so most rooms have eves, which are a bit of a head hazard but, after several bumps you do start to remember to duck. Apartment itself was well equipped & had everything you could want to make your stay enjoyable. The location is an easy five minute walk into town or to Chamonix Sud where you can pick up the ski bus or the coach to Courmayeur. Overall a great choice for a holiday in Chamonix.
We had a lovely holiday in this apartment. It was well-located, just 5 minute walk from the centre of Chamonix, but still felt secluded because of the private gardens. Our children enjoyed playing in these gardens. It is a shared area for all the flats to enjoy however.
The flat itself was very clean, well-equipped and beautifully furnished. We had a bit of trouble working out how to use the various appliances (TV, oven etc) but the owner, Odile, responded very quickly to any questions we had.
I would definitely recommend this apartment for either couples or small families.
We stayed in the Sabin 2 (middle floor) chalet in September. Booking was very easy and Odile, the owner, who was extremely helpful both before we arrived and during our stay – she even came by to show us how to use the induction stove which neither of us had used before. The chalet is spacious and very convenient for all amenities in Chamonix being close to restaurants, boulangerie, supermarkets and so on. Accommodation in this chalet is excellent with two bedrooms, a nice dining kitchen which we found easy to use for cooking evening meals and a great comfortable lounge with wi-fi and TV. A real bonus was the large boarded balcony with amazing views. It was late in the year so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we liked as we were gone during the day on some fantastic hikes and came home after the sun had gone down, but you could still enjoy the view from the living room. The weather was perfect for hiking, warm during the day and cool at night. Hiking in this area is fantastic. We had some very big elevation gains in our hikes and all were well worth the effort. Lac Blanc is a must do. The lifts were closed so we hiked from Tre-Le-Champ, with a challenging ladder climb with big rewards at the top. The Aiguillettes des Houches trail from the animal park is also a must do. Note: many of the lifts shut down around September 15th so some of the hikes are not as easy to get to, but that makes it better as there were less people. We had one day of light rain and the chalet was very comfortable for staying in. The enclosed car parking provided was a plus and we felt very secure. Overall we found Les Sapins to be very good value for money and while there felt that the owner would put herself out to help make our stay enjoyable. Will recommend to all and would love to return.
My wife and I stayed in this 3 storey (middle floor) chalet with our son and daughter-in-law and their 5 month old for the first week in September. Booking was very easy and Odile, the owner, extremely obliging and friendly both before we arrived and during our stay – she turned up to fix a leaking shower head! The chalet is spacious and very convenient for all amenities in Chamonix being close to restaurants, boulangerie, supermarkets and so on. Accommodation in this particular part of of the chalet is excellent with two bedrooms (a double and a twin with an ensuite shower room – though another toilet would have been a bonus), a good sized dining kitchen which we found easy to use for cooking evening meals and a great comfortable lounge with wi-fi and TV. A real bonus was the large boarded balcony with amazing views which we used for lounging in the sun and for eating. The weather was incredibly warm for the time of year so we made the maximum use of outside facilities but we could see that this place would be just as comfortable in inclement weather too. The enclosed car parking provides extra reassurance - important for us. Overall we found Les Sapins to be very good value for money and while there felt that the owner would put herself out to help make our stay enjoyable. Will recommend to all and sundry.
