Very cute cottage. Our first time in a thatch. Great location so close to the New Forest and the coast. Didn't realise it was so close to the road and the road was so busy and a bit perilous as locals drive too fast and in the middle of the road with blind corners but we managed. The gardens are gorgeous. Enjoyed watching the various animals feed at the bird feeder. The beds were super comfy. Nice deep bath. Could do with a little updating in the interior, soft furnishings etc. but otherwise everything was here. Some milk in the fridge on arrival would have been a nice touch for a cuppa after a long drive in heavy traffic. Would definitely consider it again in the future as the location was so good and it was comfortable and serviceable for our needs.
A very happy holiday with all my family
Lovely cottage and very well equipped. Bedroom layout suited our family but may not suit everyone's needs ( single beds cannot be moved together to make a double) very handy having a toilet in the downstairs bedroom otherwise we may have struggled with 8 people and 1 bathroom. The garden was a joy to sit in from early morning till late evening. Again very well equipped for our needs
would definitely book Snowdrop Cottage again
We would have given 5 stars if there had been a shower in the downstairs bedroom (this would also help if you couldn't manage stairs)
Great family holiday home!
We recently stayed for 12 nights at Snowdrop Cottage with our pet dog.
Everyone loved it.
Full of character and the cosy aga was always nice to return to.
We would definitely stay again.
Thanks Lynda and Keith.
Lovely well equipped cottage in attractive location.
The cottage is a great base from which to explore the New Forest and the Dorset coast. There is lots of wildlife in the area and great walking and cycling country. We thoroughly enjoyed our family break.
Idyllic country cottage in pristine condition
This was our family's first visit to New Forest and were absolutley delighted by our choice of accomodation. The cottage is beautiful to look at and even nicer to stay in. There is plenty of room for a comfortable and relaxed holiday and is very well located on the outskirts of the New forest and close to the town of Ringwood. The house is clean warm and well equipped with lots of good advice on local attractions and recommendations on restaurants from our hosts. The gardens were such a treat to relax in and I would highly recommend a stay in Snowdrop Cottage and can't wait for a return visit ourselves.
Exceptional property in beautiful setting
We were a group of 4 friends staying for a week in this delightful thatched property with lots of living space, a BBQ and terrace.
The gardens and living accommodation are beautifully cared for, this is very much a personal home.
We enjoyed the AGA cooking range, a welcome and unusual feature.
The cottage is very quite, set in flat countryside next to a "B" road.
The New Forest national park is adjacent. Great for walking and cycling.
There are many good pubs near by, we particularly liked the Alice Lisle PH at Rockford and the Master Builders PH at Buckler's Hard!
Communication with our host was prompt and helpful.
We plan to return.
