1 Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 4, Walking Distance To Theatres & London Attraction

This apartment is in a great location extra, just two of blocks north of Oxford Street within the trendy area Fitzrovia. It is within walking distance to many London attractions. It is perfect families, business travellers or a small group of friends.

This is a one bedroom apartment situated on the top floor of a secure Mansion Building conveniently and centrally located moments from Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road. The apartment is full of charm and character and is light, comfortable and spacious.

There are wooden floors throughout, a spacious lounge for relaxing in with two sofas (including one sofa bed), a large flat screen TV.

There is a large master bedroom with a double bed, with plenty of storage space, and a lovely window overlooking London’s rooftops.

There is a separate Kitchen, fully equipped with all appliances and utensils, including a washing machine and dishwasher. The bathroom is modern and has both shower and bath.

The apartment can sleep up to four persons and is best suited towards – with two people sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge.

• A family with up to 2 children or a young baby as a travel cot in the master bedroom.

• One to two couples on a short holiday break.

• A business traveller who is looking for more space and comfort but wanting an extremely central location.

There is a well equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and washing machine/dryer, cooker, hob and microwave.

Siamo stati due settimane in questo appartamento e ci siamo sentiti proprio come a casa. Oltre a confermare in tutto le recensioni precedenti, vorrei sottolineare che uno dei punti forti è la cucina. Normalmente negli altri appartamenti non è così curata come in questo: abitabile, con lavatrice, lavastoviglie e tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari (+aspirapolvere, stendino, 2 asciugacapelli, etc.). Wifi incluso e veloce.

L'ubicazione è perfetta, Ottimamente collegato con tutte le linee di metro e autobus ma consente anche molti giri a piedi. Supermercati nelle vicinanze + parecchi pub e ristoranti.

In una parola: perfetto! Se lo trovate libero, non fatevelo sfuggire!

Ovviamente è adatto per 2 adulti e due ragazzini al massimo.

Great place to stay in center London

We had an excellent journey in London. This apartment is 2 minutes to Oxford street and Soho so we just have to walk to visit London's center.

Also bus and underground stations are 5-10 minutes walk to bring you to the most important places of London.

Pubs and restaurants are all around. Thanks to the manager we discovered Charlotte street and its restaurants.

The apartment was clean. All we need was there. The room have enough space and bed is OK. Kids slept well in the living room. Even with the street noise of night life (Soho is just next after all !)

We really recommend this place for those who want to see the center of London's life, at day and at night, be next to restaurants and pubs but also shops of all type.

Great location, moderately okay unit - 2.5 out of 5

The location of this apartment was great, but it would have been nice to know that extensive work was being done on the exterior while we were staying – scaffolds and tarps surrounded the building completely during our visit. Contractors asked us to leave windows unlocked while we were staying which made us feel the apartment wasn’t as secure as we expected. There was also plastic sheeting on the carpets in the stairways which was a bit slippery to walk on.

The apartment was just okay – nothing special, and a few issues. Don’t expect to have any supplies at all – we arrived to find less than half a roll of toilet tissue in the bathroom and when I texted to request more, I was told “we provide you with a couple of rolls, however all consumables are the guests’ responsibility in this self-catering option.” Not only did the cleaners not leave any toilet tissue other than a part roll, their work in other areas was slap-dash. The living room has a large mirror that was covered with handprints when we arrived, the fridge had some spots inside it and the washing machine STANK. I ran it once on hot with just soap to freshen it before doing laundry. Although the kitchen is well equipped with appliances, don’t expect any basic supplies of any sort in the kitchen – not even salt and pepper.

The area was great to stay in and close to lots of good restaurants and coffee shops (check out Kaffeine, just steps away, and the Vapiano within walking distance!). I won’t book this apartment again, but will certainly look at other options in the area.

The apartment is very close to Charlotte street, and is a few blocks north from Oxford street, between Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus. Close by is SoHo and further south Leicester Square and China Town and, Covent Garden. Nearby attractions:

- Soho, China Town and of course London's most famous shopping area Oxford and Regents Street.

- Shaftsbury Avenue - London's Theatre Land

- Charing Cross - with the famous Foyles bookshop

- Covent Garden - with its quaint shops, restaurants, market and the opera houses

- Charlotte street itself is a buzzing area with a high concentration of restaurants and great old London pubs.

All the places mentioned above are within 10 or so minutes walk from the apartment.
