All you need in a small package

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week staying at The Blacksmith's Shop. Everything we needed was there, even down to a USB plug (I'd forgotten to pack one!), and the cottage was very clean. The bottle of fizz was most welcome upon our arrival, thank you Richard.

Views from the tranquil sunny garden are stunning.

We took the public footpath into Port Isaac but it is quite overgrown, so after that we stuck to the road - there is a footpath for most of the walk, which takes about 20 minutes.

Can recommend Rock and Trebarwith Strand (don't go via the village though as the road is extremely narrow), both of which have fabulous beaches and allow dogs.

All in all, a fantastic week in sunny Cornwall!

Small but perfectly formed!

A fabulous get away for 2, lovely walk into Port Issac (get to walk off all the food/drink calories uphill on the way back 😉) from the cottage. Everything needed is available in the cottage, a truly wonderful place - would stay here again ❤️

Cosy Cottage for 2

  • 5 of 5

Loved this small cosy cottage. Everything there you need. Head room low in bedroom area, but not a problem. We stayed here in the bad weather, of storm Brain, but still managed to walk to Port Isaac each day, 10-15 minute walk along the road. We did take the woodland path to the town the first day (25 mins) I don't recommend this in the wet, it was funny, but we were covered in mud, bit like the Vicar of Dibley episode !! Thank you for the Fizz. Would recommend and we will definitely book again.
