The Beach House with it's Guest Studio Apartment is the perfect Paradise Hideaway for Families and Romantic Couples - Situated right on Rawai Beach, where there really is sand at your doorstep and the most amazing views across the bay on to the nearby Tropical Islands surrounded by turquoise seas and a cooling sea breeze to help on the hotter days!.

This Beach House truly is one of a kind and you would be lucky to find anything else like it elsewhere!

Rawai is a delightful Thai village at the southernmost point of the Island, extremely popular with the local people and expats alike. There is an air of relaxation and tranquility which you won't find in the busier resort towns which gives you a great opportunity to experience a bit more of 'The Real Thailand' that you wouldn’t necessarily see at other parts of the island.

Stunning Nai Harn Beach, recently voted the 6th best beach in Asia is just 5 minutes away, and Rawai Beach which is just outside your door is filled with local charm. Traditional Thai longtail boats can be seen setting off for fishing expeditions and then selling their catch to the local beach side restaurants in the evening or taking eager tourists out for a day trip to some of the local islands…. For the more adventurous of you, speedboats are also available to take you to some of the islands further away.

For those of you looking to just get away from it all and unwind, there is nothing better than relaxing on your own private patio with a cold drink in your hand, gazing over some of the most stunning views imaginable! Seeking more adventure?? Transport is readily available and whether you use a taxi, hire a car or cruise around on a scooter the whole island is easily accessible with a gold mine of fun and exciting activities to keep you entertained. UNFORGETTABLE LOCATION! If your idea of paradise is to wake up to beautiful sunrises and stunning views of the sea, then this totally unique Beach House is just the place for you! The views are absolutely unforgettable and there are plenty of wonderful bars, restaurants and shops just moments away!

PLEASE NOTE: The Guest Studio is attached to the Main House but has it's own separate entrance to the front and while Rawai Beach is truly beautiful for watching the world go by, it is not an ideal swimming beach (Tidal and Many Boats Manovering about) However, just a few steps from your patio doors, you can catch one of the many traditional Thai Longtail Boats out to the idyllic nearby Tropical Islands, all of which have golden sandy beaches and crystal clear water - perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Some even have facilities to learn scuba diving, go parasailing or eve rent a small speed boat!

*Office - Tucked away to the rear of the Beach House is a small but functional office area also offering superb sea views

*Bedroom - Complete with large wardrobes a large double bed, vanity unit, and bedside tables, this romantic bedroom also boasts a vaulted ceiling and private balcony overlooking the beach!

*Bathroom - Downstairs there is a bathroom with Electric Shower, WC and hand basin

*** Studio Apartment ***

The open plan, self contained Studio also enjoys the stunning views! Living and Sleeping Area with Double Bed & Wardrobe etc. L-shaped Sofa and Patio Doors straight out to the Beach. There is a small Kitchen area with Fridge/Freezer, Microwave, Kettle & Toaster etc Plus en-suite Shower Room

There is a good sized Patio right next to the sea which is beautifully lit at night! Plus a Thai Style Thatched Sala – perfect for "Al Fresco" Dining. Also Chairs, tables – Sun Loungers – and Bar B Que.

We came across this property a few years ago, it didn't look like much at the time but the location and the views just couldn't be beat! With a little bit of creativity, love and care, we knew this property could be something really special, and now it truly is!

Schönes Beachhous mit Potential

Reisezeit: Im Oktober ausserhalb der Saison; Familie mit 2 Kindern 12/14 jährig

Lage: Direkt am Strand, etwas ab vom Zentrum, Restaurant direkt angrenzend

Beachhouse: Sauber, gepflegt, zweckmässig eingerichtet, Nachts bei offenem Fenster kann man das schöne Meerrauschen gut hören. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl

Studio: Sauber, gepflegt, klein und eng, als Kinderzimmer perfekt, da eigener Eingang

Restaurant war gut hörbar aber nie laut. Hat vor Mitternacht geschlossen

Garten: Leider ist der Garten ungepflegt und lädt nicht zum verweilen ein. Es gibt ein kleines Bambushaus, wo man Sitzen und Essen kann, ein richtiger Esstisch mit Stühlen fehlt. Die Bäume sollten zurückgeschnitten werden, denn vom schönen Balkon im Beachhouse verdecken sie einen grossen Teil der Aussicht und es hat nur Schatten. Immer wieder kommen fremde Personen in den Garten, ziehen sich um und gehen dann zu den Boten vor dem Strand. Lassen ihr Kleider im Bambushaus liegen und Duschen anschliessend in Ruhe. Direktes Ansprechen wie auch die Reklamation beim Vermieter brachten kein Erfolg.

Strand: Ist etwa 80 Meter breit, auf beiden Seiten durch Felsen begrenzt. Je nach Gehzeit gibt es kein Platz zum Liegen, ausserdem liegt viel Müll rum. Baden war nicht möglich, da das Wasser zu wenig tief und der Untergrund felsig und schlammig war. Der Motorenlärm der Speedbooten vom Strand vom der rechten Seite war immer gut hörbar.

Parkplatz: Ein Auto ist an dieser Lage ein Muss! Leider wird der Parkplatz oftmals vom Restaurant besetzt und man muss dann einen anderen Suchen, was in der Nähe schwierig ist.

Betreuung: Die Betreuung vor Ort war gut

Rawai is located at the southern tip of Phuket and is quickly becoming one of the most popular areas to live on the island, teeming with artists, Thai and expat entrepreneurs, and a service sector that, for the most part, moved here from somewhere else.

Rawai is quite spread out with lots of trees and greenery so scooter hire is advisable, driving is easy as the area is nice and quiet and it really allows you to explore.

It is much less touristy than nearby Kata and Patong beaches and an excellent place to experience some real Thai culture with a peaceful local atmosphere and is very popular for the many seafood restaurants all along the waterfront. For a bit of fun its best is to eat on mats placed on the floor like locals do, the food is just as good, but it's a more memorable experience. The food and drink tend to be slightly cheaper here too!

Overall, Rawai Beach is not your usual beach destination but offers a unique local feel and is perfect if you prefer a quiet and peaceful holiday and a more authentic experience.

The beach stretches east to west with a cape at both ends and is very shady and pleasant, even on the hottest days, and you can while away the afternoon underneath the beach's casuarina trees, or catch a traditional Thai longtail boat out to one of the nearby islands, Koh Bon, Koh Hey (Coral Island) or Koh Racha.

For a glimpse into the day-to-day life of a real Thai 'working beach' Rawai Beach is hard to beat. Some fishermen caulk their vessels while others mend their nets; others work on a new boat and the whole beach atmosphere is decidedly nautical. Catches are hauled ashore while restaurant operators on nearby islands load crates of beer and bags of rice aboard longtail boats.

All you have to do is sit and take it all in! There are no jetskies, banana boats, ambulant beach vendors or any of the trappings of a west coast beach; this is Thai beach life.

When the urge takes you to spend the day soaking up some sunshine or the kids want to go swimming & snorkeling in the ocean, then Ya-Nui Beach and Nai Harn Beach are only a quick 5 minutes drive away.

Ya-Nui lies in the shadow of two of Phuket's loveliest viewpoints. It's a charming little cove featuring good snorkeling, kayaking and fishing. The sand is beautifully soft and children love to collect shells on this beach.

Nai Harn is a fabulous beach, tucked away between rolling hills blanketed by rainforest and backed by a lake. It’s one of the islands most popular places with in-the-know locals as well as a popular anchorage for yachts during high season. The thin soft sand and perfect clear blue water is fringed by a delightful pine forest with so many choices to eat you won’t know how to decide!

The region is defined not just by its beaches but also by its lush coastal hills that rise steeply and tumble into the Andaman Sea, forming Laem Phromthep, Phuket’s beautiful southernmost point providing wonderful sunset views across the ocean.

The hills are home to pocket neighborhoods and cul-de-sacs knitted together by just a few roads – although more are being carved into the hills each year. Even with the growth you can still feel nature, especially when you hit the beach.

With the sudden rise in popularity the area has been subjected to a fair amount of development over the past few years and now traditional village life has become intertwined with a host of modern conveniences. Upmarket restaurants and beach clubs are muddled together with Tiki-Bars and roadside vendors. Bakeries and coffee shops mixed with open-air markets and beachside BBQ’s.

While not the best place for hardcore partygoers there is still a bright and vibrant nightlife with a selection of family friendly watering holes, pool bars, girlie bars and the now famous ‘Laguna Plaza’ - a collection of around 15 bars and a nightclub all under one roof, offering great music, a lively atmosphere and outstanding drinks that will surely keep you dancing until the early hours of the morning..
