At Merino Hospitality we thought we would try something new and gave our guests the freedom to design their accommodation to their own taste. Select previous guest were awarded the opportunity to choose from a vast choice of furniture, finishes, colours, fabrics and textures, in order to create a space that is both sumptuous and highly individual.

The results are incredible! With two bedrooms on the top floor and a mezzanine, above a large open plan reception room and kitchen, we think the decorative combinations chosen by our guests bring an air of class and a new dynamic to the interior.

The mezzanine floor has a futon that can be used as a comfortable sofa or double bed. It’s finished with a luxury topper for the ultimate comfort and the best night’s sleep. There are two spacious bathrooms in the house. One is a modern wet-room, whilst the other has a bath with a generous shower overhead.

One thing we have insisted on choosing ourselves: The beds. We go to extreme lengths to give you the best possible night’s sleep. We are talking about the ultimate level of comfort – bespoke, hand-made in the UK beds and mattresses, made specifically for Merino Hospitality in partnership with the official bed makers for the Rolls-Royce Enthusiast Club, EPOC. They are layered with over 10" of Merino wool, white cotton felt, cambric, silk and individually pocketed springs to make you feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud. Trust us, you will need more than your smartphone alarm to get out of bed in the morning!

And with that in mind, you can have your alarm setup through your SONOS audio system in every room of the house.

Other facilities include a Samsung Smart LED TV 48″ full HD with Netflix and HDMI connectivity, fast and reliable Wi-Fi, LED lighting and solar heating system with underfloor heating throughout, whilst skylights and floor to ceiling sliding windows flood the house with natural light. You will also find a washer/dryer (detergent and softener provided), a large dishwasher (tablets included), iron with board and hair dryers in every bedroom, as well as luxury amenities by Aromatherapy Associates and Pecksniff’s, soft towels and top quality bedlinen. Fresh fruits, flowers and a small selection of groceries will be waiting for you on arrival (including a bottle of wine, juice, milk, eggs, bread, butter, crisps, chocolates, biscuits and sweets). Cooking spices, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sugar, tea and coffee are all supplied free of charge, as are cleaning materials for your daily needs. Additional housekeeping is also available on request for a small surcharge. Stays of 7+ nights benefit of complimentary weekly cleaning and linen change.

The reception room opens onto a secluded cobbled street, a stone’s throw from the centre of town and the bustling West End. Orchid Way is peaceful retreat, in a calm residential street full of character and in the same neighbourhood of the British Museum.

Another host cancelled on us at the last minute, and needing an alternative we landed on this gem. This property is AMAZING. It's not cheap, but if you can afford it, it is absolutely worth every penny. The location is unbeatable - right behind Russell Square station, but in a small mews that is quiet and serene. The property itself is an impeccable converted carriage house, with all the most modern conveniences (including dedicated hi-speed internet!) and really everything you could possibly need. We were greeted by Andres, who was very nice, explained everything, and also left us with a gift basket of basic supplies and snacks: bread, butter, milk, eggs, fruit, cookies, chips... basically, they made sure we didn't have to go shopping right away. Before and throughout our stay Caio and Andres answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently. We were also pleasantly surprised to get a complementary cleaning half-way through our stay. Caio also came to meet us at the end of our stay and was incredibly nice. Basically, if you want the IDEAL London flat, and can afford the fee - this is THE place to take.

Great apartment!

Ideal location: totally quiet, in the heart of Bloomsbury easy walk to all of central London. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. For two couples the bathroom configuration is not ideal (bathrooms are on two levels) but that said they are both very nice. It was unusually warm and the upstairs was a bit hard to cool off, but then London is not often overly warm! Staff were responsive, available and flexible!

Bloomsbury is a friendly neighbourhood with green spaces, unusual independent shops, buzzing cafes and excellent restaurants offering food from all over the world. Yet a short walk or tube journey will take you to St. Pancras / King’s Cross, Euston and Waterloo train stations, the British Museum, Covent Garden, Soho, Chinatown, Oxford Street, London’s West End, famous for its world class theatre, The City, St Paul's Cathedral, Regent Street, Bond Street and much more. Nearby Coram’s fields will make you smile – it’s the last park of its kind to which adults are only allowed if accompanied by children!

Bloomsbury is the literary heart of London and often referred to as Midtown due to its superb central location and ease of access to all corners of London.

Lambs Conduit Street - hidden away in the back streets between Holborn and Bloomsbury, you won’t find it on any tourist map or city guide but those who are in the know or happen to stumble across the street instantly fall in love with its unique charm. It’s a street that feels different, it’s as if you aren’t in central London, with a cosmopolitan mix of Cafe’s, Restaurants, Boutiques and Galleries and it’s great for shopping and relaxing but yet a very residential area with hundreds of apartments in the surrounding streets, as well as a vast amount of council homes. This is what makes Lambs Conduit Street so special and so unique, it still has that community spirit that has sadly been etched away from so many old neighbourhoods in Central London. Nothing beats an afternoon lunch sitting out on the street with the sun on your back, in absolute peace and quiet – yet only 5 minutes’ walk from Holborn tube station? – That’s quite surreal.

In order to deliver the very best to our guests, we are very selective of our clients. PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED, but this is your home in town and of course you are welcome to have your family friends and relatives around.

We aim to make you feel at home and that is reflected not only by the quality of our properties and furnishing, but also the friendly service that we offer our guests. We are always available and with our office just around the corner, never too far away.

Stays of 7+ nights have a complimentary midstay cleaning. Extra housekeeping services can be arranged for £40/day

We respect your privacy and we want you to enjoy your time on your own terms so our interaction during your stay is as much or as little as you want it to be. We are pretty good at understanding your needs so please ask as many questions as you want!
