Relaxing retreat

  • 5 of 5

This home was very pleasant with huge windows to enjoy the view overlooking the property. A basket full of pamphlets for restaurants & local attractions was sitting at the front door for guest to peruse. Everything is conveniently located yet you feel secluded. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great house in a great location

  • 5 of 5

The property feels isolated enough that you can enjoy a little solitude while still being mere minutes away from amenities. Plenty of space and a well-stocked library (books and DVDs) will ensure guests of all ages will have something to do on a rainy afternoon or after a day of exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway. Insider tip: if you are traveling with small kids, be sure to check out Jack Rusher Park in nearby Arden. (It has one of the best outdoor play structures they'll ever see.) We will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful Vintage Updated Home...This home is lovely. It is represented truthfully on VRBO.

  • 5 of 5

There were 3 of us in our group and we visited Asheville in June of 2017. We would highly recommend this rental to you. The home was very clean, roomy, and well represented. We loved it. We spent considerable time on the screened in porch just enjoying the peace and quiet, and the lovely view. We especially enjoyed the extensive windows in the living room and dining room. There were lovely views from every room. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. The owners were very easy to work with, very responsive in a timely manner. We had a couple of special requests and they accomodated us with no problem. Please give this rental a try. You'll be glad you did.

Most relaxing vacation we've had in years!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 4 stayed in this lovely home for a week and had the most wonderful vacation. We researched multiple properties before booking and our entire family agreed that we made the right choice by renting this one. The owners couldn't have been more helpful as we planned our vacation and offered great restaurant and hiking trail recommendations before we arrived. The home is perfectly located because it's close to Asheville, Biltmore House, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc. yet secluded enough that it's super peaceful and quiet when you return after a long day of activities. We also loved the size of the home - perfect for a family of 4 to all have our own space and beautiful views that can't be beat. They have a huge DVD library of popular videos that we enjoyed at night. Overall, this home is simply amazing!
