Winter is almost here on the beautiful Oregon coast!

The weather is often surprisingly lovely during this time of year on the coast, and storm watching over the ocean is wonderful from the cozy living room. Enjoy lower rates through April with rates of $350 a night, or $2100 for a full week (you receive the 7th night free).

Absolutely fabulous views welcome you to this 2 story, classic Beach Front Home. As well as 4 Bedrooms, including 2 with floor to ceiling ocean views and king size beds, it has a large recreation room, complete with pool table. There is a glassed-in ocean view patio with a lovely large Jacuzzi and gas barbecue. Step across the back lawn and descend the 30 steps to your secluded entertainment deck on your way 50 yards through a private willow shrouded path, ending at the Famous Bandon Beach, complete with breath taking rock stack formations and broad sandy expanses.

This beautiful home is located just 10 minutes from the Fabulous Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, north on Hwy 101, with its 3 famous courses. Ten minutes to the south, there is the new Bandon Crossings Golf Course, as well. The Bandon Marsh Estuary and New River offer incredible shorebird watching, just minutes away. There is wonderful seasonal fishing and crabbing in the local Coquille River, and 20 minutes away are the pristine Elk and Sixes Rivers as well as the famous Rogue River, an hours drive to the South.

Sunset Horseback riding on the Bandon Beach is an incredible experience, and biking and kayaking in such a scenic environment create memories you will never forget.

You might just want to sit in the Floor to Ceiling Ocean View Living Room and watch for seasonal whales or, during the winter, enjoy the thrill of dramatic storms in front of a roaring fire.

The Restaurants in Old Town Bandon have some of the freshest locally caught seafood you will ever taste, and Shopping in Scenic Old Town Bandon, along the waterfront, is another truly memorable experience. Immerse yourself in this setting and see why visitors return again and again.

Best beach rental ever!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful stay! This beautiful vacation rental is tucked away off busy roads but has amazing views!!! The house is absolutely charming, filled with costal art. Wonderful open concept perfect for groups with a wall of windows to watch the ocean waves. Perfectly clean with modern amenities and well stocked. Perfect patio for bbqing and hot tubbing. Best of all it has its own beach access just a quick walk down. No getting your car all sandy. The owners/managers are kind, knowledgeable and quick to respond to any need. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!!

Beautiful location, view and comfortable accommodations.

  • 4 of 5

My husband's family came together for a Christmas family reunion with Tom's 92 year old Mother. The house has exceptional accommodations with ocean views from almost all rooms. It was well equipped and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the pool table and piano. However, one of the reason we chose this house was because it had a hot tub. Unfortunately it was in disrepair (2 jet knobs broken off), too small and unusually shallow, not what we expected. Overall we had a good experience and with a new hot tub we would rent the house again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review, Martha! We're glad your family enjoyed your stay. In reference to the hottub size, it is a standard 300 gallon Marquis, so I'm sorry it seemed too shallow and small. We don't have plans to get a new one at this point, as the one we have is still in good working order, but we would still love to have you stay with us again if you should change your mind!

Amazing views

  • 5 of 5

Our group-consisting of three couples, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Each couple had their own space with more to spare for another couple. There are amazing views from most of the house to enjoy. I would recommend this home to couples wanting a break from reality to family reunions. A great gathering space for anyone seeking a great getaway.

Gorgeous Home and Views - Will be back!

  • 5 of 5

We just had a great stay at this beautiful home! There were 8 of us adults, four couples, and we had more than enough room. We loved relaxing in the hot tub each evening and drinking wine/beer on the patio after days where us guys golfed and the women explored old town Bandon or walked on the unreal rocky beach (which we basically had all to ourselves the entire time!). The home was very private which we appreciated and there was also more than enough parking for all four of our vehicles. Caryssa was very nice and easy to communicate with. We absolutely plan to return.

A Week of Beach Heaven

  • 4 of 5

Just stayed at this lovely oceanfront home for the first time and already looking forward to next year. The view is incomparable and to top it off we had a week of glorious sunshine. The beds are all comfortable, the house was clean and very well stocked. There is plenty of outdoor furniture to enjoy the best part of the stay. Lots of interior storage for a big group - kitchen pantry, butler's pantry and rec room with pool table and a PIANO!. Other reviews mention a second refrigerator which was not available so we had to store extra beverages outside in a cooler. Two bedrooms on the lower floor were a plus for one individual in our group who could not negotiate the stairs. There are a few things that need attention. The afternoon sun through the floor to ceiling windows in the living room can be blinding and one of the blinds is broken and needs to be fixed. Also, the window screen in the upstairs large bedroom was laying on the deck, it is bent and it does not fit back into the window correctly. Upstairs bedrooms can get quite warm during the day so we wanted open windows. Also screen door into dining room needs new screen. The kitchen is quite small considering the size of the rest of the house. Really only works for 2 people to be in the kitchen. Kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of towels, extra bedding, and two rollaway beds if needed. But 10 people would be a stretch for only 2 bathrooms. Nice hot tub and BBQ, washer and dryer and plenty of hot water for the 8 of us. Not difficult to get to the beach if you are physically fit - would not be safe for anyone who is unsteady. There is a flight of railroad tie stairs but no handrail, then you have to negotiate an uneven dirt path. Elderly visitors would not make it to the beach. We had a great time and will be back next year. It's about a 15 minute walk to Old Town Bandon. There is a 2nd almost connected residence next door that shares the hot tub area and outdoor shower, but the way we understood the setup is that no one is there when the main house is being rented out. If the second house next door was occupied you would have no privacy in the shared outdoor area. We had everything to ourselves which was perfect. Thanks you to the hosts.

Owner's Response: Hi Derry, thank you for your review! So glad you had a nice stay. We so appreciate all the tips and have taken care of them. We also feel you on the kitchen, but with the open island that looks out on both the ocean and living room, it's easy for the few who are actually cooking to interact with the rest of the party! Additionally, the patio and jacuzzi are always solely for the use of the renters and never shared. There is another house on the opposite side of the wind enclosed patio, but their entrance to the patio is blocked from the inside, with both viewing and physical access completely unavailable from that end, thus ensuring complete guest privacy at all times. Hope to have you stay with us again in the future!
