Why Antonella chose San Vito Lo Capo

The construction of the house was completed in June 2015. It 'a family property that we decided to make available to tourists for the potential of the place, both for its proximity to the sea, within walking distance, and for the presence of protected areas and nature reserves, and the ability to run for climbing enthusiasts. I myself live a short distance from Turquoise House.

What makes this house unique

What is striking in this house are the verandas overlooking the sunset. There are no other houses in front and the proximity to the sea allows you to enjoy a breathtaking sunset every evening perhaps with a cocktail or simply relaxing after a day at sea.

The proximity to the mountains is a real paradise for lovers of climbing.

The split on 3 levels allows guests to have a full privacy while living together, the house is in fact divided with separate bedrooms from the ground floor with living room and kitchen areas.

a wonderful week in a place of truly special natural beauty

  • 5 of 5

a very comfortable place to stay: modern, clean and well equipped. Dramatic sunsets every night of our stay overlooking the Mediterranean to our west. Hostess Antonella and her dad readily available for questions and assistance. Useful information re: dining, points of interest and several books on Sicilian culture and cuisine available in the house Location is ideal for the local beaches in Macari, the super beach, shopping and restaurants in San Vito lo capo and a reasonable drive to other western Sicily places of interest such as Trapani, Erice and Marsala. But, most important to us was the access to the Zingaro and Monte Cofano Nature Reserves. Unbelievable views and hiking options from flat oceanside walks to strenuous climbs. Strongly encourage visitors to sample both parks.

soggiorno meraviglioso!!

  • 5 of 5

Nino!

Schöne Unterkunft, schöner Sandstrand, hilfsbereite und freundliche Vermieter! Kommen gerne wieder!

  • 5 of 5

First time in Sicily, great experience

  • 5 of 5

The experience we had in San Vito, hosted by Gabriella, was very positive and from some point of view exceeding our expectations.

The land of San Vito, in the region of Trapani doesn't need any promotion: warm welcome form the people, outstanding nature, excellent tradition and food.

You cannot find organised beach resorts, but you find almost everywhere what you need to spend pleasant time taking bath and enjoying sun.

The house was comfortable, clean and very well arranged with nice and new forniture.

A wide beach is at a 10' walking distance.

No shops close to the houses but every morning bread and sweets and some ready food come to you by a kind lady horning at 7:30 and 9:30.

At 2/3 km you can find markets and shops. San Vito is 5 km out and there nothing is missing, including fine and affordable restaurants.

Gabriella and her family are great, and they provided us with anything we needed.

In conclusion: a 5 star ranking is well deserved.

Car: recommended

Macari, small and scenic town, surrounded by unspoilt nature, presents a number of restaurants to enjoy the best local cuisine and the renowned fish couscous.

Bay to visit Santa Margherita, the nature reserve of Mount Hood and the dozens of bays present a few hundred meters from Casa Turquoise.

San Vito Lo Capo is just a few minutes drive, guests will be given a free pass to park in areas reserved for residents. Then the Zingaro Nature Reserve, Erice, Segesta, will offer a magical setting to the already attractive resort.

To reach Casa Turquoise, you can choose either the airport of Palermo or Trapani (Birgi).

You can reach San Vito Lo Capo by bus but we would recommend hiring a car, meaning that although the sea is within walking distance, the availability of a car will take you to the different beaches present and reach San Vito Lo Capo , visiting Erice, Segesta, the Zingaro Nature Reserve and Mount Hood, Scopello etc ..

By car, take the A29 Palermo - Mazara del Vallo towards Mazara del Vallo, exit at Castellammare del Golfo and follow the signs for San Vito Lo Capo.

Go past the village of Castelluzzo (at the end of a major street with a small roundabout at the end) you will be skirting the sea on your left for about 1 km, turn right at the sign for Macari (district of San Vito Lo Capo ), take the road (via Perciata Rocca), you will find turquoise house 300 meters on the left.
