About Alan Roberts
We are a family of four, Andrea and myself with two grown up children Dale and Danielle.
Alan Roberts purchased this House in 2004
Why Alan Roberts chose Regal Palms
We love Regal Palms, there is a real feel of being on holiday which you don't always get at a pool home. You are able to socialise with other people and get to make friends around the pool and at the bar and restaurant, without having to squash into a hotel room at the end of the day. There is plenty of space to go home and relax when you put the children to bed, and no fear of having to rush to get out in the morning. It is a proper home from home, but with amenities to enjoy right on the doorstep.

This is by far our favorite VRBO we have stayed in. The townhouse is beautiful and very spacious. There is a short walk to the pool area. We were here 5 days and only went to Universal. The other days were spent by the pool. Our 6 year old loved the lazy river(bring a float or noodle, they are not free/provided) little playground, slide, and climbing structure in the arcade. They have a beach volleyball court and cornhole too. The townhouse is within walking distance of Publix and a liquor store. Only like 5 miles away is a Target, many restaurants, and other stores. We cannot wait to come back here...beautiful place to stay.
We had a great stay here. About 20-25 minutes from any of the Disney parks. The family loved the pool and facilities. The home was clean and as described. It's "lived in", but as a person who has stayed in many short term rentals it was comfortable and clean, and much much better then many I've stayed at. Towels, bedding, etc are all clean and new. The on site restaurant has a fairly extensive menu at reasonable prices (though the alcoholic beverages are pretty steep).
Definitely recommend the condo and the owners. Easy communication and zero issues.
GREAT VACATION....NICE PLACE
REALLY NICE RESSORT ...ONLY THING MISSING WOULD BE PATIO CHAIR OUTSIDE THE HOUSE ...GOOD THING WE HAD OUR BEACH CHAIR !!!
Very nice property. Everyone was friendly and the pools were very clean. My only complaint is management should be more aware around the pool area. It’s not great taking your 5 year old swimming with a bunch of YOUNG kids cussing and rough housing. My son was hit in the head by a football by the same group of kids. Overall all, I blame whoever was supervising those kids. They weren’t doing a great job. I highly recommend staying here and will again next vacation!
Wonderful place to stay!
We came down to visit the 4 Disney theme parks and this was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 4 kids. It’s conveniently located to restaurants and grocery stores and about a 25-30 minute drive to the parks. We truly enjoyed our stay and the property owners have been wonderful to deal with.
It was a pleasure to welcome you to our second home. We are glad you all had such a great stay.
Have a great Xmas and if you ever need help with vacations in the future please do not hesitate to email us.

Nice vacation place
Place was nice and clean. Shower heads needs to be replaced. One shower curtain was super short.
Glad you had a great time Jennifer. Thanks for letting us know about the shower heads, we will discuss this with our management team.
Wishing you and your family an amazing Christmas and New Year
Andrea and Alan
Although it is recommended to have a car for your daily activities, the location of our property has the huge advantage that it is physically possible to walk to a supermarket, bank, restaurants and bars. This makes it ideal if all the adults in a party would like to have an alcoholic beverage with their meal.
Berry Town is only a five minute walk from the entrance to the resort (7 minutes from our actual property). At Berry Town Centre you will find a Publix supermarket, SunTrust Bank, Applebee's and IHOP restaurants, plus Sundays English bar, serving English favourites to eat and drink. There are numerous take aways also ranging from pizza, burgers, Thai, Chinese and Janpanese cuisine...something for everyone's taste buds!
For everyday essentials the nearest Walmart is only a 5 minute drive North on the 27. There is a whole array of restaurants along the 192 which is also only 5 minutes drive away, there are too many to mention in their entirety but include Bahama Breeze, Mannys Chop House, Longhorns Steakhouse etc.
Without doubt the top attraction for this area is the theme parks, and who doesn't want a piece of the magic that is Disney World?
Our property is 13 miles from the entrance to Disney and takes approximately 20 minutes to drive there.
For the thrill seekers amongst you, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, offer bigger rides to get your adrenaline going, these parks are 23 miles from our property and the drive takes approximately 30 minutes.
Sea World and Discovery Cove are situated around this proximity too, with a 20 mile drive from Regal Palms taking approximately 25 minutes.
If you want to venture a little further, why not head West and try Busch Gardens? It offers a good combination of wildlife and rollercoasters, a great day out for the whole family. It is a 57 mile drive from Regal Palms on the I4 and will take you approximately 55 minutes to reach the attraction.
Florida is not all about the thrill of the theme parks though, there are plenty of other ways to enjoy your time in the Sunshine State.
How about exploring the in depth work by NASA to see how they prepare to venture into other parts of the universe. Kennedy Space Centre is 72 miles away, and is a great educational visit for young and old.
For a totally chilled out day, head to one of the beautiful beaches on offer. Cocoa beach is the closest at 80 miles, and Daytona not far behind at 85 miles. If you are feeling lazy and want to recuperate from the parks, put your feet up and enjoy a cocktail or two whilst enjoying the sun. Alternatively book in for some surfing lessons and learn to ride those waves!
Visit the Everglades and get up close (although not too close!) with the alligators. It is a long drive, almost 4 hours away from Regal Palms, but to see the wildlife in its natural habitat is worth every minute of it. If you don't want to travel so far, head East towards Lake Tohopekaliga where you will find Boggy Creek Airboat Tours, it is only 26 miles and approximately 40 minutes driving time. They offer half day tours, where you can still get a taste of the nature that surrounds Florida.
If you would prefer to enjoy a totally different view of Florida that not many visitors get to see, experience the sun coming up from a hot air balloon. There are many tours that depart a short distance from Regal Palms, and if you are lucky your pilot will descend to a height above where you are staying so that you can get a different perspective of your accomodation.
Florida has some of the best golf courses in the world, there are too many to mention, many of which are in close proximity to our location. Highlands Reserve which is a par 72 championship course is the nearest to the resort (only a three minute drive) but can highly recommend Celebration and Champions Gate also which are not too far to drive.
If shopping is your thing, there are several designer malls and outlets in the area, try picking up a bargain at Premium Outlets, or the Mall at Millenia. Alternatively drive to Disney Springs and indulge yourself with all the retail therapy you could ever imagine. When you cannot hold any more bags retreat to one of the many restaurants or bars that are on offer.
On Friday nights take a trip to Old Town in Kissimmee, where they hold a weekly parade of classic cars. It is a spectacle to be seen, plus there are several amusements and rides for the kids to enjoy, whilst you do some window shopping or grab something to eat.
